There are no clean wars

Do some people believe that there are "clean" wars? Rape has always been part of the consequences of war. War always opens up the door to let the shark men feed...and shark men love to fight in wars because then they can do what they enjoy most - killing, destroying and raping. And don't tell me that the war in Iraq is "clean". Many reports are available of Iraqi women being raped by American soldiers.

Not a Gaffe

Obama's perceived gaffe is a blessing in disguise. For the first time in years these poor, economically downtrodden people will finally have someone that understands and speaks for them.

Don't be surprised if they all vote for him come next week.

Singing her last song!!

A typical Hillary opportunist speech delivered by one of the biggest two-faced hypocrates around. I was disgusted by her constant reminder to us that McCain would be a better president than Obama. She ran a destructive, negative campaign and spent money like water.

The Clintons would do anything to remain in power. I have no respect for her.

She lost, she sang, now she should now go away.

Democrats, especially women should now more than ever stay on message about McCain and his goal to push women back to before the suffrage.

Let's say this all together:

1. McCain wants to overturn Roe v. Wade and curtailing abortion rights.

2. McCain is also opposed to requiring contraceptive coverage by health plans.

3 McCain favors abstinence-only sex education.

Stay on message people, stay on message.

Who is raising her Downs syndrome baby?

Prankers Love Ignorance in Politicians

She has not shown humility. But worst of all, is her complete lack of intellect and ignorance. Her hubris just shines through in these situations.

It's The White Generation Stupid

Don't blame the white voter. Blame the OLDER generations of white voters!

Rather tell us the age of the white voter, and I will tell you whom they voted for.

I think you husband does not help you around the house!!

If I were you I would tackle the bull by the horn:

1. Since this other woman is such a b@#h to you, quit whining and just eliminate her from your life, meaning: no more visits or get togethers (when she comes back from overseas). She obviously is not a friend and makes you unhappy!!

2. Your husband is a lazy louse: Give him a broom and a mop and tell him to start cleaning. Plan a weekly schedule for him.

3. Buy some sexy lingerie. Get a babysitter for a Friday evening and take your husband bar hopping, movies, dinner, concert etc.

Greed?

I thought only the wealthiest of wealthy people were allowed to invest with Madoff?

And he married her because?

For her ability to make money for him and turning a blind eye to all the other women he slept with during their marriage?

Her heart was certainly stabbed many times by this man.

Ta, he's had it good, the bastard.

Thanks Salon for this excellent story.

Status = Respect?

I'm so sorry for your pain and sadness. It's not easy to survive in the present economical crisis, a crisis I believe will last for a long time to come. You work very hard but you see no light at the end of the long dark tunnel.

Your girlfriend is in the same boat.

But why is she blaming you? Most realize that a university degree does not guarantee a job nor equal success, money and status. Frequently the graduate with the working/middle class background has to take any job, sometimes even two? Because the family has no connections or social class to justify doors that open to cushy jobs.

"Dee" loves material things. Instead of blaming your for her lack of material status i.e shitty car etc., why does she not find another job, or a second job? Or continue study? Does she realize how privileged she is by having a job and food and a place to live? Has she ever volunteered to ease poor people's lot? Does she even care how many people suffer from this economical turmoil? Does she know that if she and you lose your jobs, you could both be right there with the poor.

Could you marry a woman that only respects/loves a man with a certain material status? Or is this the same life goal you have - to earn lots of money and drive fast cars. If so, I think you deserve each other.

Thanks for the Review!

I will however, decline to spend any money on a movie starring Julia Roberts.

She is not an actress. Kate Winslet and Cate Blanchett are actresses. Serious actresses.

Roberts is merely an overpaid, media over hyped movie star. And in Hollywood circles she is know to be one of the most obnoxious celebrities...........ever.

Original article: "Julie & Julia"

Julie not spicy enough!

What a splendid movie! So much num food porn. The Julia side of the story was fantastic.

I cannot understand why the Julie story couldn't be edited differently? Why Amy Adams? She is a generic actress. Boring ans insufferable. As my husband said: "The friend of Julie would have been a perfect cast as Julie". Guess Hollywood is Hollywood......

Too much Product Placement

His blog used to be enjoyable 3 years ago when he photographed creatively dressed random people.

Today, he is being booked by fashion labels that pay him very well to shoot certain people that wear certain looks.

I'm looking forward to visit a fresh new blog from a new creative photographer who will once again photograph REAL PEOPLE.
