Both tough to take...
[Read the article: My best friend's husband insulted me]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I can't side with either party because each seems insufferable. There's he with his comments and she with her over reaction. Why can't they both sit down and discuss what happened? They have a person they each love and care about in common, so why not try to clear the air? We're talking about folks in their 60's who should know better. I'm not saying they should overhaul their personalities to appease the other, but a minor tweak in order to get along in the world (or in one's social circle) is not always a bad thing.

No one is immune...
[Read the article: How can we get back the thrill in our relationship?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]LW's issue is common and dare I say, mediocre? But he's confused and frustrated because mediocrity never afflicts rising juniors at Stanford. I'm sure that by putting their two brilliant minds together, a workable solution can emerge.
I just have to say that I was put off by LW's citing of irrelevant factors. Does it really matter which school they attend or that his gal is gorgeous? I can only imagine this kid at social events parading his resume and his gf. Let's hope that he grows out of it. Maybe Stanford offers self-awareness classes from which LW could benefit greatly. Falling flat on his face a few times may work wonders too. We plebeians call this experience. LW may have a fancier word for it.

and we don't want to take it anymore...
[Read the article: Demi Moore's mad as hell]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Never been a fan of Demi. She’s always struck me as wooden and overly intense--a good tactic to use to make up for the lack of acting ability. I agree that she was terribly unsexy in Striptease. Kinda reminds me of another “actor” who creaks about….Tom Cruise. They even look alike to me.

Take Crosely…please.
[Read the article: The best-laid plans]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Am I being mean for not caring about the sexual (almost) adventures of a 29 year old? I offer no offense to folks in their 20’s, as some have great stories to tell, but this hardly qualifies.
I’m all for coming of age accounts that have insight and charm, but these qualities are lacking in her piece.
Though I was intrigued by the title, the article didn’t engage me. The excerpt reads as stock material from some crummy canceled sitcom--all formula and laugh tracks. How blaringly original that she traversed Europe while in college, spent time at an Ivy League school, and has conventional looks.
How about something juicy next time from a woman or a man who hasn't lead a formulaic life and who knows how to seal the deal?
