  • They all agree

[Read the article: Obama and Rove: Playing for the same team?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

on most things, so they may as well play for the same team. The list goes on.

    - Agree on giving illegals legal status

    - Agree on more surveillance of US citizens

    - Agree on more control over Americans' lives

    - Agree on more government spending

    - Agree on limiting third parties

    - Agree on continuing the corrupt campaign spending

    - Agree on US hegemony

Ron Paul is the only one who seems to think for himself and have the best interests of the coutnry in mind. Of course, this makes him 'marginalized' according to the lemming politicos.

  • Great!

[Read the article: I left an abuser, but now I'm with a married man]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

These days people like to believe that we all have absolute control over what happens to us and that our choices are all made CONSCIOUSLY. I think it is a sort of whistling-in-the-dark trauma left over from 9/11. Bush has done a great job of convincing people that if they strike preemptively against all villians nothing bad will ever happen to them again.

Great AKA. and in this enlightened era of equality, I hope men are granted the same consideration in the mistakes they make in their decisions and lives as women gleefully keep granting themselves.

(the reality is of course that men will continue to be more harshly judged by [hypocritical] women)

  • There is another side to this

[Read the article: I left an abuser, but now I'm with a married man]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

once you realize that many women are masters at manipulating those around them to get what they WANT. She can play 'victim', to stay above the fray, in relation to this married guy while continuing to gain the benefits of being associatd with him. Benefits that include possibly overthrowing his marriage and getting him, and also the benefit of her not having to make difficult emotionally unsatisfying decisions about him or others she may become involved with who are also married or compromised in some other way.

  • And why

[Read the article: Are the answers in the polls?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

is Ron Paul continually marginalized even though he gets some of the highest poll ratings and is the only one proposing solutions to end our current [massive and growing] problems?

We can continue to whistle past the graveyard, but if we keep maintaining our tacit consent to this one party money-and-power system (masquerading as two parties), God help us, but this country will continue to spiral down the tubes ever faster while we were all (supposedly) on watch.

  • What are the Bush apologists thinking?!?

[Read the article: Jenna Bush -- engaged!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Seriously, do you think that this announcement could possibly be the beginning of a campaign to improve the image of the Bush family?

Is it even possible to improve the image of the guy single handedly responsible for destroying the US?

Jenna is no innocent either. Grandpa bush was party to the JFK assassination and part of the plan to assassinate Reagan, along with his other misdeeds. Great Grandpa threw money at the Nazis. Jeb is corrupt. The other Texas brother was instrumental in the S&L disaster. The family swims in illegal drug money.

Jenna herself flew down to South America to sign the papers on the 100,000 acre Bolivian plantation that her daddy will escape to should things get too hot for him in the States (fat chance of that anymore with the sympathetic one party money-and-power Dumocrats locking down the peoples' only other access to Washington)

The child of particuarly evil and amoral elites, she is sure to spawn even more dangerous, demented idiots to make our future generations all suffer.

  • Only 'boobs' get boob jobs

[Read the article: Under the knife, into debt]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I have as often seen and met very sexy A cup women and completely unsexy DD nutjobs. It is what is in the head of the person and their own confidence that makes them sexy, not the size of their cleavage.

And frankly, I like smaller breasted women (or really ANY sized decent, honest, non-man-hating woman), something many men will agree with.

But it really isn't about attracting men as much as impressing other women and getting attention from shallow stupid men (if that is what you women want).

  • To finish the thought

[Read the article: Under the knife, into debt]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

so it is disappointing that women use bood jobs to 'peacock' around each other in the same way they claim (disdainfully) that SOME poor old males resort to great personal sacrifice to impress females.

It proves that the old male/female gender dichotomies in other animals fall apart when humans and consciousness come into play. the dividing line becomes not gender but stupid vs. smart humans of both genders.

  • Why all the gargoyles and ghouls

[Read the article: Giuliani's dangerous bluster]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

being rolled into power? Are things really that bad? No wonder the people have lost faith in this country.

I am someone who believes the face tells a lot about a person, what they believe, how they grew up, what they worship (money, power, ancient Egyptian death gods).

Exhibit 1: Chertoff, who collects crystal balls

Exhibit 2: Cheney and his famous sneer

Exhibit 3: Bush and that damn smirk

Exhibit 4: Puff faced dough boy Rove

now ghoul faced Guiliani is being heralded as a potential leader?

Nixon looked handsome compared to these two bit clowns. Heck, even Soviet Russia had more appealing looking dicktaters.

  • Criticize my incoherent and contradictory policies,

[Read the article: P.S., Mr. President: "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S."]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

lawlessness, bad decisions, stupid opinions, negligent party, criminal consultants, enabling and libertine family, but DO NOT pick on my 'all hat, no cattle' attire.

What is his secret ambition? To look right when he meets the gipper in heaven? Far be it from me to judge where he is headed after he dies, but I do not think he is going to the same place the great Reagan went.
