I have met many women that I did not think were sexually attractive initially, but became more attracted (yes, sexually) the more I got to know them. I'm sure from reading your posts this is NOT something you could understand.
but women have been proven scientifically to be much quicker to judge and reject than are men-- which of course makes them shallower than men.
which is another reason that explains why all the jerks and assholes and players are always hooked up and the better guys, who are not always on top of the game at first sight, lose out.
which also then explains why society is so messed up if only the shallow jerk asshole players are the only ones making babies.
so IT IS WOMEN'S FAULT after all.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The women are selfish, brightstar, just not in the way you think. If gentlemen of your type stay shy and awkward, they don't need to worry about marrying some seemingly charming man who's actually a misogynist troll on Salon.
First off, I was rejected for being shy and awkward, like all the other better men out there, long before I became cynical about females.
Second off, I most definitely reject the mischaracterization of me as a troll.

- because despite my passionate feelings about gender topics, I feel this and other forums are the places to resolve these issues I believe in. God help me, I believe in COMMUNICATION.
If it upsets you what I write, that is more a reflection of your jaundiced, prejudiced, piggish perspective about what little box we men are supposed to stay in just to PLEASE YOU women.
As for misogyny, another poster on another letters section basically said he used to be feminist until he realized the road only goes one way and women NEVER want to lift a finger to also make men be treated fairly. As a former feminist, one who still believes women are entitled to equal pay, etc, I am now a HUMANIST, because we men are half of the species, and apparently we, the men, are the more compassionate and charitable ones, than you selfish pigheaded women who only care to stare at your navels and secretly thank yourselves that it is the men who bust their asses for you and not the other way around.
'misogyny' as a term ought to be retired (it is retiring itself because of misuse by shits like you), it is already a tired overdone insult that has no fangs left, as people realize feminism is about women overpowering and enslaving EVEN FURTHER the men by using the legal and social systems against us.
really, you and anyone who would reject someone like me, are the idiot. I am aware enough to know what is going on, have a heart and soul enough to care about it, am passionate enough and responsible enough to feel like taking it upon myself to do something about it, and I adhere to the humanist philosophy that men and women SHOULD be equal above all. You heard me-- MEN TOO.
On the other hand what are you but a man hating troll yourself? What are your little suck up boyfriends but weak wimps who cannot or refuse to stand up for anything but that which continues to get them free and easy lays from women, EVEN IF THEY DEEP DOWN DO NOT BELIEVE WOMEN ARE ENTITLED TO EQUALITY. Do these men even know themselves? Is there a core deep down? Or are they vacuums lacking souls, the kind that were so useful in Nazi Germany, JUST DOING THEIR JOBS, because they lack the inherent sense of decency and fairness to treat men and women equally, rather than just raising women on a pedestal so they can USE WOMEN.
Your choice women, YOU are the ones deciding who gets to breed the next generation (unless you are being raped that is), and apprently selfish selection of male sycophants is the order of the day.
ANOTHER REASON I REJECT FEMINISM.
PS thanks for this forum Salon. You will continue to be rewarded with stimulating, lively posts like this if only you do not impose a voting system whereby all the feministas can gang up on people like me who believe in TRUTH above corrosive gender politics. (and I am PROUD of this post too dammit)
