Thank God there are still some sane men

Are there so few men and women that believe feminism has been a disaster for society? My guess is that the plurality believe it, but few have spoken up, until NOW.
What galls me the most is that feminists and their ilk are plum happy to live and thrive in a world where they are actively manipulating men. The shock that this is what women consider UTOPIA is one big reason to begin shredding feminism.
At least the men 'nominally' running society seem to sincerely want decent treatment and opportunities for both women AND MEN. This is far superior to the drubbing being given men by the feminists currently manipulating public opinion and shaming governments into mistreating men-- men who are supposedly the EQUALS of women.
Men suffer enough under women already without having to put up with another two or three layers of bullshit, which is where we are now.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]What is incredibly strange to me, however, is this seething resentment against women in general, against feminists in general, the bizarre sense that somehow women CONTROL men, the media, the world, etc. - please, somebody tell me the feminist equivalent of Rupert Murdoch? Or Fox News? Or Rush Limbaugh? If you feel the conservative-leaning, mainstream media is not addressing enough "men's rights topics," or male oppression or victimization, then you need to take that up with Rupert Murdoch, Fox News, etc. - not the feminist posters at Salon.
The proof that women are in control is EXACTLY in the fact that we men cannot get a fair hearing in the general media.
The men in charge pander to women to score brownie points and NONE OF YOU WOMEN DEFEND US EITHER.
Would YOU not be resentful and 'seething' too?
Or maybe I, as a man, do not matter to YOU.
And to answer you other comment, men ARE optional, because a woman can easily breed and live a life away from men. Show me how men can do this...

[Read more letters about this article: Here]There's something very strange about your reasoning, it's like you deny historical fact at every turn, legal and political and religious policies decided on by men over centuries, if not longer...I'm not talking about some vague "patriarchy," I'm talking about specific laws, policies, practices, governments - the "military" wasn't a woman's idea, remember - and you're equating women's responses to that history, with some tables-turned-on-males "oppression" that's what...been in existence for 40 or 50 YEARS?
So this IS about getting back at us men. Now we are expected to be subjugated for centuries on end, huh?
Truth be told, women were only as oppressed as THEY ALLOWED THEMSELVES TO BE. Sure, if the women in the past all acted like glorified idiot children, would YOU hand a vote over to them? Hell, even today women act like immature idiots. Lindsay Lohan is practically a living GOD to a huge segment of women. Can you imagine how immature women in the past must have been to NOT BE TRUSTED by men?
Until the sixteenth century and the industrial revolution, men and women worked side by side. Men ALSO did not have the right to vote since there were no such things as democracies. Many cultures still place dowries and value on the women at the expense of men, who are expected to EARN their value in the eyes of the family of the woman who inherits her position by virtue of having tits.
Feminist 'history' is not cut and dried but consists of carefully nursed false little factoids that have been massaged into existence though they mean virtually NOTHING when looked at in the context of ALL OF HISTORY AS A WHOLE.
Women can be put upon in these ways historically because they have intrinsic value to the society, they breed children. Men do NOT. Men have ZERO VALUE if they are not part of a working free society.
Women already run the world of the household. The average woman has much more power than the average man over issues of daily life-- reproduction, childrearing, love. Yet, despite women CONTROLLING this realm, they are eager to ALSO take away the bitter little realm men have carved out for themselves. Then women have the GALL to question WHY MEN ARE PISSED?!??
And you wonder why I think women are ARROGANT
