last time i checked women didn't have parity in government or control most of the major corporations or act as the majority of church leaders or generally hold the kind of power that would give or withhold rights for men.

lemme break it down as briefly as I can.

women, not men, control the most important things in life, that is the domestic front. The hand that rocks the cradle? If you have not heard, men cannot breed without the help of women, the same cannot be said in reverse. So, as compensation for this egregious unfairness of nature, men are forced to accept second best, that is to get out into the world, and if they are forced into servitude to women, they may as well use their talents to get the best woman they can. Hence, men spend so much time and effort developing careers and building lives so women, better women, will want them.

This canard that religion or ceos or government control you women is a joke. The courts routinely tell men they cannot have custody. The government tells men they HAVE to go die on a foreign battlefield for something they might not even believe in. If the men supposedly control these institutions, how is it that things are not set up to benefit men at the expense of women? Are you saying men are stupid?

Women, as much as they harp about wanting to be in charge, know better than to engage in the drudge work most men are forced to endure to make something of themselves. Women generally have an easier time in life using their feminine skills to engage and glom onto the men around them instead and to milk them for their worth.

Most men are not CEOs, or presidents, or popes, most men are middle managers or lower, forced to endure psycho bosses, pesky customers, etc. At home, if the guy has a home life, he is second fiddle to his wife. Oh, she may make him think he is in charge, but we all know *wink* *wink*

Most women ARE the controlling dominant force in their domestic lives. Unless the woman is a masochist, generally she marries someone she feels she can manipulate or control to a great extent.

in conclusion, women do not have to have parity in numbers of seats of congress or ceo positions, they do not have to do the heavy lifting of duking it out in the halls of congress, the battlefields, or the board rooms.

If this has been different for women in the past, one must ask, why did women assent to such treatment? Maybe they liked feeling weaker. Maybe an education did not interest them. Maybe they were happy with what they did have in life. I cannot deduce this, I was not around. But you can say, unless men have become pusses only in the past century, women COULD HAVE HAD the vote, and been educated, and been business leaders at anytime in Western history, nothing stopped them but their lack of ambition and imagination, certainly not the men.
