And more power to him. But biologically speaking, there is no such thing as a pregnant man.
Not yet, at least. One day within the next half century men will be able to become pregnant and carry a child to term. I only lament that I will be too old by then to experience this reality myself.
In Europe, I read of a poll taken a few years ago that 40% of men wished they could become pregnant.
Like it or not, we men grant women hundreds of privileges we deny ourselves merely because women CAN bear children. We put up with a hell of a lot of SANCTIONED abuse from women because we are conditione to see women as necessary.
One day women will wake up to find out they are OPTIONAL, just like we men have ALWAYS BEEN.
That will be the day the two sexes will begin to treat each other with TRUE RESPECT, not with the phony baloney faux respect women deposit onto us men today while using and abusing us all the way.
You know, women cannot even FATHOM what it is they are doing AT us men. That is what is most laughable. It is just EXPECTED behavior.
are held in check in innumerable ways all the time by society.
It is as ludicrous argument I wish feminists would quit using, because it makes you look BAD, for women to assert that they are not to be touched by society in any way because they are what... female?
Do you think you women ought to be able to get away with a hit and run murder because nobody is to tell you anything?
Maybe you can tell all the male rapists that they are RIGHT and privileged because NOBODY should tell them what they can do with their penis.
You women are a fucking living joke. I am GLAD feminism is fading, it seems to only have one core agenda, more for women AT THE EXPENSE OF MEN. Fade away...
Brighstar, would I were steadfast as thou art in being misinformed. In the 2000 election women were 10 percentage points LESS likely than men to vote for Bush. In the 2004 election, women were once again 10 percentage points LESS likely than men to vote for Bush. 51% of women supported Kerry, as opposed to 41% of men. 39% of women supported Bush as opposed to 50% of men. I don't know what kind of women you associate with, but before you make statements about WOMEN electing Bush, do a little research. In my experience, women were more likely to be alienated by Bush's arrogant macho act, while men liked the idea of a "strong," "manly" leader. i've been getting the feeling that you don't understand women particularly well and hang out exclusively with those who are crazy and cruel, but this information is a matter of public record, so I'm surprised at you.
Well, I've heard over and over that it was the women who ran to Bushie. I am not a stats geek and I do not follow politics, so I may be guilty of communicating information second hand that may not be accurate after all. All I know is this evil clown got in not once but TWICE.
And as for men, and men only, being forced into military service, there hasn't been a draft in this country since women were allowed to join the military. Women who wanted to join the military had to fight for that right.
What is to be believed? The next time there is a draft, you can bet tons of women will NOT want to be drafted. They will have the option NOT to be since they were never forced to sign on for selective service. I see this as evidence that society is stacked against men. Last I checked women do not have to sign on for selective service even in this so called advanced era. Advanced for women. Men are still FORCED to be troglodytes.
I believe last time we sparred, you said you'd be sweeter to me. I ask you not to patronize me. I want you to be yourself, harsh as you may be. You know that from my last response to you. I live by the principle that one shouldn't dish it if one can't take it.
I can take it and I can dish it. I have found many feminists can definitely dish it out, but they hide behind privilege and try to destroy anyone who challenges them, even kindly. You seem like a reasonable person and not a foam at the mouth kool aid drinking mindless feminist, so I am willing to believe you when you tell me you can take it.
Women can't say what it's like to have a penis, so we shouldn't. On the same token, men can't say what it's like to have the ability to become pregnant. So they really shouldn't either. Fortunately for you, Brightstar. you didn't do that, but that's to all the other men out there who like to make statements about this issue. Get your pronouncments out of my vagina and stick them somewhere else.
Two things, women have FOREVER been telling men what to think, what they are supposed to feel, what they should and should not do.
I see no reason why this shouldnot be a two way street.
Secondly, a pregnant woman does not live in a vacuum. Society suffers or benefits from her decision to have a child. Yes, true that a man is also involved, but women do as they please, even if men suffer for it.
I am surprised you do not see this problem for what it is. but then you have a vested interest in being a typical feminist and not giving a rat's ass what your decision do to affect some mere male or society in general. Let the men pick up the pieces after you women have played with the toys.
So FEMINIST of you women.
