Read the article I linked in my earlier comment, then come back and explain what an awful person the writer is. Maybe you can explain why she needed to put up with that misery, and where she will spend eternity.

I never had a problem with abortion for medical reasons.

The US will not be the place where the future is created. That honor will go to Asia.

While the US is building better ways to hurt more people more efficiently, Asia is figuring out how to grow clones, build robots, send people efficiently into space, make artificial wombs, develop new energy technologies, better electronics, taller buildings, better materials.

    They still dream.

I look at this example as evidence of what is going on: Dubai (though not in Asia) is building the world's tallest building by a factor of two. It will be 2-1/2 times taller than the Empire State Building, once the star of American ambition. This tower is already the world's second tallest and it is only half built.

While we putz around in circles slowly squeezing out an ugly bunker emblematic of our fears known as the so-called 1776' WTC Freedom Tower (that has yet to be started), the rest of the world is imagining a great ambitious and hopeful future building towers that are reaching 3500' to 5280' into the sky.

    weird, vitriolic tirades

I am merely responding vigorously to a feminist's weird and bigoted declarations.

Sorry if a man having an opinion offends you. Hearing so often how women are so superior to men, I guess I (again) vastly overestimated womens' ability to be tolerant of others' opinions.

  • Ever greater fishbowls

unfortunately, as technology and life gets more complex, I am seeing a predilection for elites to set up ever more perfect false facade government/military/industrial complexes. This is currently going gangbusters in America, with super-doublespeak in the government, a curiously uninquisitive media not prying the curtain back, and creation of better ways to control and monitor people. These PROGRAMS seem to be the whole ultimate purpose of existence, for the populace to feed and care for their own jailers. This naturally leads to the supposition that all of our existence is a nested dolls Matrix within a Matrix where the more advanced species above us place the less advanced like us into nested fishbowl realities, perfect simulacra of a reality we are not allowed to REALLY experience. Sad, really to think there is nothing but totalitarianism pretending to offer freedom, on into the eternal future. What great things are we missing out on?

  • Do men?

[Read the article: Does sex through fraud constitute rape?]

What is at issue here is what has always been a crucial issue for women: Do we or do we not have the right to control our own bodies?

I ask again (and never get a satisfactory answer): DO MEN?

When a baby male is genitally mutilated so his future girlfriends do not gag on an au naturale penis, did he have a right to control his body?

When an 18 year old was drafted against his will to go fight in Vietnam, did he have a right to his body?

When a father is forced to pay for an accidental child he did not want but the condom broke and she wants to keep it (and has exclusive right to decide), is he entitled to control his body (and thus all that he produces with it)?

Give up your hoary arguments unless you are willing to fight for both genders to have equal rights. I REALLY MEAN IT. That or drop the pretense that women are interested in men also being free and equal to women.

technically you are correct, and being a geography buff, I do know this fact. By most common agreement Asia extends all the way to central Turkey and the Urals or even slightly further into Europe. Since Dubai is on the Arabian peninsula, sandwiched as it is between Asia and Africa, there might be some other questions in calling it part of Asia. I guess I was thinking 'classic' Asia (say, the Black Sea and East) in most people's minds when I said it wasn't in Asia per se.

  • What double standard?

[Read the article: College girls gone wild (and proud of it)]

If a woman sleeps with incalculable numbers of men, how is this positive for any man who is with her unless he hates himself?

Sure, no man would want to be stuck with a sex hating prude who never has boyfriends, but there is a big difference between having a handful of past loving boyfriend relationships and 200-500 or more random unaccountable and unaccounted for playas.

What do you tell your kids? What do you tell your family? How do you explain to your friends that the girl on your arm was super loose and easy for years but now only wants you? How do you compete and offer her a good sex life if you do not have equal amounts of experience? How can she enjoy sex with you after all the variety and extraordinary sex she has witnessed? What will stop her in the future from just sneaking around some more? After all, she has few if any standards.

I realised last week that ONE reason women are considered sluts but men are not is that men actually have to work for their sex. Congrats to any man who has his game down so well he can get laid anytime any night. No woman has to ever work for sex, she merely has to lower the standards of who she lets into the gate, which SHE controls, not he, not no man.

Sure, I have seen a few examples of women who were easy lays and who redeemed themselves and now have one man they are devoted to, but these women are the exception that proves the rule. These women go well out of their way to make their man comfortable in the fact that they are changed and no longer feel this way. But again, these women are EXCEPTIONAL.
