Save us all

The more I hear and see Hillary, the more armd she appears with canned ideas. Saying how the voters have suffered far more than she...hey we all suffer. Once again, she's elevated herself above the masses. Hillary claims to be about new ideas, but she is part and parcel of the old empire.

Obama...pretty face, great speaking ability, somewhat plausible, but really worrisome because of his ability to keep his voting record so twisted.

...and then there is McCain. What we've got is a (to plagiarize a phrase from Lewis Black) "a trifecta from hell."

What we need is a candidate to pop up from the woodwork that no one knows who can articulate solutions without a single intent to pacify the parties.

Where is the next real American statesman/woman?

no matter who wins America loses

IF Obama wins and runs with Hillary, that could be 8 more years of the Clinton's in the White House with Hillary as VP and Bill as whatever. Then Hillary running for president and getting 8 years...that would be 16 years of the Clintons, in a row. Now that is scary.

I can't vote for McCain...dear God...and I can't vote for either of these lying, self-serving candidates.

America is cooked.

so big deal...

Loved the satire, by the way...points well taken.

But who cares? I mean, if it's a good read, it's a good read.

I've tell a story in my oral mythology that I share so often I have refined the details so sharply of the fictional account of a plausible situation that it is entirely entertaining and carries a worthy lesson.

Long live..no scratch that...long write the lying bastards!

another loss for American Culture...say goodbye

Spitzer may never have claimed to be the watchdog of public morals, but as a leader he sets the tone for what is right.

Has he done anything new? Not really. He has, though, gotten caught, and getting caught makes him a public spectacle. And what of the public spectacle? Just like Mr. Clinton or any number of unprosecuted priests how have molested young boys, he has lowered the bar of public morality to our children.

Parents, good parents, rich and poor fighting a constant battle with what becomes accepted morality. Morris Berman has it right in his latest book, Dark Ages America, we are through as a culture. How do we inculcate values to our future adult society when we can't get it right so often as adults. Long live stupidity...the new American way.

It isn't about race...at least for me

Obama s showing his colors. One doesn't become your spiritual mentor by expounding terribly negative ideas about the country without at least tacit support of the student.

Obama has no more a place in the White House than does David Duke at this point. Which the reverend as a center of influence we need to support anyone but Obama.

If there's race baiting its from his side. It seems that any difference of opinion with Obama's thinking leads back to race. How convenient.

Obama, you can't hide your self serving tactics for much longer, nor your alignment with ideas that are the underpinnings of a hope to destroy the ideal, what ever is left of it, that is.

No, it isn't race, sir, it is hatred of the country you intend to lead by your confidants. You scare me...and it isn't about race.

a lot more simple than we think

We need to reexamine a lot of things as we make our laundry list of woes in recent American history. Let's use George Bush's own words at the beginning of this article to lead us directly to the truth:

"In a free market, there's going to be good times and bad times," said President George Bush in a speech at the Economic Club of New York on Friday. "That's how markets work. There will be ups and downs."

Well, George, if it hasn't become clear to the American people that this is NOT a free market, then it never will. You and your cronies in the Senate and Congress represent the antithesis of a free market economy. What's been free is our government, left and right, raping of American citizen via lobbyists and the complicity of leadership turning its head for the gain of corporate America. Opps... you broke it.

bull...

No one who holds radical positions of the country and its ideals, especially a candidate or his spiritual mentor, white or black, belongs in the White House. This isn't a racial issue. It's an American issue.

Original article: Obama's speech on race

Great Speech....

Who cares? Fools care. Obama's wife's statements as well as the pastor, his spiritual mentor, someone he cannot separate from, says it all.

Once again, Obama plays race. It isn't race dear man. It is the inculcation of unamerican speech and values. Values in a man you defend.

You are no different in my eyes than a racist white man where the "Confederate flag still waves." Forget it. We need not an Obama mentality or a David Duke mentality in the White House.

Liberty and justice for all...ALL, and I don't mean people who look like me. Everyone. Always. I cannot vote for you. I hope others do not.

Your speech only comes upon the requirement of trying to protect your position in this race. Without that need, you;d never have made it. You are a fraud.

Original article: "I'd hate me too!"

ugh

Frankly, I never understood the hype. DJing is to musical talent as is reading the ingredients on a Kraft Macaroni and Cheese box to being a chef. We're all better off if he stays in an unadvertised bar spinning records.
