shorter little brother

I'm not a right wing troll, that said...

how dare anyone defend Bill Clinton. I mean we... errr they, already assassinated his character. Do we... they have to keep on do it all over again just because Bill Clinton is the purest American hero to come along in decades??

It makes right wing trolls look bad.

Now take Rush, that’s an American patriot.

Bill Clinton is a true American Hero

Right wing douche bags get over it.

@Glock45... really

You sound like one of those nut-jobs we invariably end up reading about shooting a bunch of third graders in a shopping mall because he didn't get his cheazyfries with his happy meal.

Glock45... grow up coward and stop using a pistol as compensation for a tiny penis.

They want to burn the country to the ground.

Just so they can get their incompetent asses back in power and start pumping money to their corporate buddies on wall street and the healthcare companies (just for starters).

Screw them!

They lost the election for very good reasons:

Stifling incompetence, corruption and a total disregard for the health and welfare of the American people.

Democrats need to stop pussyfooting around and call out these clowns for what they are.

Is Barney Franks the only Dem with balls on that hill??

He called them out and it sure as hell didn’t hurt him politically, on the contrary, he is a hero.

I am no longer laughing.

This morning my wife called me from work. A guy I knew years ago, not the sharpest knife in the drawer by any means but also someone who I would not have called crazy, was going off about how Obama was like a Nazi and he is hiding his birth certificate because he is not an American.

Before this incident I did know one person who subscribed to this, she is a fundamentalists, believes deeply in the black helicopters… although she could never say why… oh, and back in the day she thought that the members of Led Zeppelin were actually angles and that Robert Plant was going to take her into outer space with her (I shit you not). Its easy to laugh this type of nutjob off as just a pitiful, and rare, member of society.

But this guy, although as I said he has always been sort of a loser but not insane, is spewing this retarded bile. I’m depressed and worried. Just how stupid and easily manipulated are the American people???

The Democrats need to stop laughing at these lies and hit back hard with facts and ridicule. Call out the media for not calling them out and get on the offensive. These people are dangerous and they are gaining traction.

Loses seats to whom?

Yes, the Democrats have been slipping in the poles, but this is not because the republicans have been showing more leadership, brains or plans to make things better.

The main reason Democrats have been slipping with the majority of the country (excluding the 25% crazy republican base) is that they have not been forcefully standing up the nutjob republicans and their corporate overlords.

I see no indication that the general public will choose republicans over democrats in the midterm elections. Everyone still acknowledges that Obama is a huge improvement over Bush and the republicans look more and more like fringe wackjobs.

Yes we are frustrated and except for the occasional hero like Barney Franks, are pissed off... But to think for one second that we will vote republican is just crazy.

It reminds me of the big fuss the media made about the so called PUMAs after it looked like Obama was going to beat her in the primaries. The majority of the talking heads (and McCain's campaign advisors, BTW....) thought that the republicans were going to pick up votes from these people even though McCain represented the antitheses of everything Hillary Clinton has stood for her entire political career. Well it didn’t happen… but we did get introduced to Palin…

I predict Democrats will pick up seats, not lose them. The real rough battles for Democrats will be in the primaries where the voters will want to punish the weak, blue dog types, who caved in on health care and gitmo.

I have to disagree with the premise of your article on this basis:

Greed trumps gender every time.

If a man, woman...... company, you name it, though they could get rich by marketing a male birth control pill they would sell their souls, break their mother's backs, make a deal with the devil... (you get the picture) to do it.

Greed trumps all else.

Greed mixed with the ability to rationalize will destroy the us all. (Just though I'd throw that last bit of truth in there for the heck of it... now have a nice day)

Show that video on faux news.

And 70% of their viewers would believe it to not only be true, but that using minotaurs to torture...err I mean interrogate suspects is a great idea.

I mean, what do liberals have against demonic monsters anyway!

I think the lesson in this cartoon

for those of us who never bought into the Bush bullcrap and the right wing insanity and therefore feel this is not about us is....

We let the monsters grab the steering wheel and take us over the cliff over the last 20+ years. The real challenge now, as we see the hate filled mobs, corporate interests and money, and downright nut-jobs lunging for the steering wheel.... Are we going to let them do it again?

That goes for Obama too
