Hell yes he gets credit...

Could you imagine the world wide economic collapse and depression if McCain / Palin had won the freak'n election!!!!!???

If McCain and his poodle Palin had won and subsequently done what they had said they would do:

-Tax cuts for the rich,

-No stimulus package,

-Let the financial system completely fail (because to do otherwise is “socialism” in their words)

-Continue torture and indefinitely extend the war in Iraq.

-Let Pakistan and their nuclear weapons fall into religious fundamentalist's hands.

-Deteriorated relations with all rest of countries of the world.

Taking that into account I think it is no exaggeration to state that Obama has saved the USA from complete economic, moral and military collapse.

PS(The reason most non-rightwing hacks don’t tout the stock market as an indicator of the health of the economy is that it is a lousy gauge of the overall health of the economy. Bush and his band of evil idiots should have taught the ignorant news media that years ago.)

@ Julybird

If the gitmo thing falls through for them perhaps they could house Bush and his cabal while they await trial.

I think waterboarding is unimaginable torture.

But I don't want it investigated because it would be hard, ugly and make Americans feel bad about ourselves when we badly need optimism.

(Using my time machine I link to the year 2025)

Yep, that's what I used to say before my neighbors turned me in for crimes against the state. They won't tell me what my crimes are because that's secret...

I've been waterboarded, beaten, mauled by vicous dogs and given no clothes... day in and day out for ... I don't know how many days. I've told them everything and anything. They just laugh... to think I might have been able to do something about this once.

(I apologize if I'm being a bit ham-fisted)

@agore... youre joking right?

I mean would a republican be so stupid as to post a letter whining like a spoiled little brat after an article about how republicans constantly whine like spoiled little brats?

BwaaahhaaaHaaa..

Obama should nominate a fully qualified gay justice just to see the extreme right wing nutjobs erupt into full fledged teabagging insanity!

If only he had spent the last eight years fishing.

That's when he caused his damage, he's just being creepy now.

IF you cannot see the racist streak.

running through FOX News’s "tea-bagger" gatherings, then sir, you are blind.

Furthermore, to state that you think Garofalo was incorrect in her assessment that the tea baggers are largely motivated by racism because not everyone at these so-called events is strictly motivated by racism and nothing else is kinda stupid.

That's the best headline I've seen in quite a while Mr. Rossmeier.

I'm afraid my inner Butthead is showing...

I miss those guys.

They have souls?

Most of their words and actions seem to indicate otherwise.

Oh oh... will have a pop-out section.

I know, a pop out of the turkey slaughter house. The turkey sticks its head out, and then you snip it off (scissors not included of course).

For the good of the United States of America.

The Republican party, as it is stands now and what it stands for, needs to be effectively dissolved.

In my opinion is will most likely be replaced by two new parties:

-A party of religious fundamentalism which seeks to effectively remove the separation of church and state and then establish their brand of religion as the "official" religion of the United States.

and

-An anti-tax party financed by the rich and powerful which seeks to remove the progressive tax system so that the wealthy will pay vastly less in taxes. This is the "small-government" crowed.

As the republican party stands now every goal and desire the express would diminish the US until we are very large banana republic.. complete with death squads, a few rich people hold up in gated communities and the vast majority of Americans living in squalor.

I for one cannot wait to see it happen.

P.S.:

Can we finally drop the charade and stop calling these people "conservatives" and call them what they are, right wing radicals.

What a bunch of hypocrites

South Bend's Bishop John M. D'Arcy said:

"the complaint boils down to President Obama's "long-stated unwillingness to hold human life as sacred." Notre Dame, the bishop charged, has chosen "prestige over truth.""

Sooo, if that is you’re reasoning shouldn’t you feel the same way about anyone who supports the death penalty.....

What would Jesus do.... I think, if I could be as bold as to speak for the almighty, he would be against the death penalty, war and torture... but you seem to have no problem with those acts... hmmmmmm

Thanks for injecting some reason.

You left out the most encouraging sign of them all.

In 2008 we had a president and administration who were utterly incompetent and in over their heads.

In 2009 we now have a president and administration who are highly competent who posses both a vision for the future and a pragmatic approach to reaching it.

Holy elephant dung elephant boy!

You’re not starting to go all Liberal on us now are you?

I mean, you're talk'n kinda to the left of Obama.... Getting tired of waxing Todd's snow machine?

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 11:37 AM

Let's see now...

The nutjobs out there have pegged Obama as a:

- Terrorist.

- Muslim.

- Christian radical.

- Fascist.

- Communist.

- Socialist.

And now he’s a Jew…

At what point does the media stop listening to these whack-jobs

?

This guy is a poster child for...

...the republican base we keep hearing about.

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 02:09 PM

How much do you want to bet that this jackass

Was a die hard Rush Limbaugh fan.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009 10:37 AM

You would think that because of the "Liberal" media,

that the right wing would welcome the fairness doctrin. Well of course unless there is no Liberal media and only a crazy right-wing owned media.
