Treason? Bring It On

[Read more letters about this article: Here]It occurs to me that the proper response, when right-wingers start throwing accusations of treason at those of us on the left, is "Bring it on." If DeLay and other wingers (Ann Coulter springs to mind) think that some action on the part of some American citizen constitutes treason, they should go to their friends in Congress and bring a treason prosecution against the person committing that action. Otherwise they should shut the hell up about it.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]A blogging associate of mine suggests the Democratic Party put a unity ad on the air now, with both Clinton and Obama appearing together, to frame McCain as the candidate of eternal war. Seems to me there would be huge benefits in the general election for whomever wins the Democratic nomination. It's such a good idea that it will never, ever happen, as Terry McAuliffe's craven bilge makes clear.
