back bone is manditory

would i sign a petition for full and complete investigation by an independent team? ABSOLUTLY POSSATIVELY! IN A NEW YORK SECOND. i'm sorry that mr. jones was intimidated into resigning. which just adds more feul to the conspiracy concept.. somethings need to be aired in the light of day. there have been too many people who have bennifited obseanly from this.(dickhead cheney for one)i'm not a consperacy nut but the true sure would be a nice change of pace.

from now until the end of time

i was house sitting for a friend down in cuernavaca, mexico. i turned on "ggod morning america" they were commenting on the "accident" up the street at the world trade center. the back drop was that big picture window. as charlie gibson was talking, i watched as the second plane hit. the crew behind the cameras and i gasped in horror.the rest is, as they say "history". nightmare is a better word. someone i know, down here had a daughter who taught grade school a few blocks away. another friend had a teenaged daughter in college there. a very dear, long time friend was a producer on broadway and lived in manhatten. i'm sure that many could add to the list."6 degrees of seperation" and all that. that evening, i went to the cathidral(even a pagan methodist has to go somewhere for compfort).one of the small chapels was open and there were 5 mexicans sitting at the entry, quietly playing guitar and singing. i went to the front, knelt down and sobbed. that was all i could do. i was so far from home. it's getting soggy as i write this...my heart still goes out to all who lost friends or family. this is something that you just dont recover from. you just have to keep moving, one foot in front of the other. love and prayers to one and all who live with questions left unanswered.

Original article: A party is not a movement

when a movement is not a party.

this is a hard one....pardon the double entondry....in the last election, from where i sat, the media subverted "fair and balanced " reporting in favor of promoting one specific candidate to the total exclusion of all others. in the 45 or so years that i have been politically aware, this astonished , amazed ,and offended me. that many special interest groups saw, what at first appeared to be a beacon of light in a sea of political darkness and were drawn to it, is not at all surprizing. as a nation, we were all drowning in a miazum of deciet, lies, misdirection, and enormasly vulgar greed. we were in desparite need of someone, something to bring us out of chause into some small sense of sanity and order. what i hope these groups will come to understand is that they are still viable and their special focuses are valid and necessary...we all just have to "keep on keepin on" so to speak. there may still be something good to come out of all of this. after all, it took 8 years of ·$%&/()(/&%$· to get us to this point. the reality is that it is going to take all of us and more to get us out of it. i relenquished my vote in the last election because i couldnt support either of the candidates but i know we have to give this administration a fighting chance to begin to fix all the ruined areas. hang in there!!!!

how !in " is it to be vulgr and cruel

i'm so sorry that you had to live in a culture that finds humor in demeaning and debasing the sexual orientation of others and belittleing honest friendships into a vulgarity. when i was in college, i had a casual friend who ran around with two other friends of mine....they were his "girl friends" .in other words...female friends. all 3 of them were kind, intelegent, creative, and unbeliveablly funny people. at NO TIME would he or the ladies have ever deminished their friendship with such a crass and cruel term. they had far more respect for themselves and each other. a small sggestion...the next time anyone announces that they or someone else is your "fag hag" give them your most disgusted look and say loudly---i dont think so---or---i wouldnt permit myself to be lowered to your level... the people that we allow or permit or invite into our lives are a reflection of how we see ourselves....if you permit someone to deminish your friendship like that it deminishes you as well. heres hopeing that your female friends view themselves with far more respect than the one you mentioned in the article. trust me, sweety...it aint cute or hip to belittle yourself or others in this manner...its just CRUEL and STUPID!

the truth about rove

there is a great little book floating around out here in reality land...BUSH'S BRAIN... now, please dont get too excited. no, g.w. really doesnt have a brain...what he does have is karl rove...and that is what the book is all about. even after THE BRAIN was forbid access ....do you really believe that good ole karl was no where to be found in the cheney bush white house? we may very well be collectively horrified at just how much influence friend rove had during those lllooonnnggg 8 years.or not.
