I work with old, white, heterosexual, males, all over the age of 60. Obama did NOT grow up in a wealthy family, just read his biography. Especially comparing him to other past presidents, he is far, far down the list of being from privileged wealth. No Bush, Kerry, or even Carter wealth here.

It will NOT work. What I mean is that ANY plan that allows the insurance industry to rake it in, WILL fail in that it will not keep costs down, nor will it cover everyone. The insurance industry IS the problem.

Then they wonder why their country is a fucking shit-hole! It's because they don't mobilize, agitate, and demand, elect, and hold accountable public officials. It's like Americans have a combination of acute amnesia coupled with a single-digit IQ.

The Republicans don't have a plan is because they DO NOT CARE. The GOP is a full-fledged FASCIST party, because it has ALL of the characteristics of classical fascism: nationalism (anti-immigrant), virulently racist, aligned with big business, overt religiosity, advocating war against the poor, disdain for the weak, and an imperialist outlook. The GOP's sole aim is to increase and accelerate the power of the corporate bosses who own the GOP. It uses all sorts of tricks to fool the gullible masses, most important of which is FOX NEWS, the propaganda arm of the GOP.
