Original article: The death of card check

Folks, what we need is...

Action in the streets. American workers are sorry-ass pansies compared to the French. Hold the motherfuckers hostage and starve the bastards until they relent. It's time to bring back mass action, complete with organizing committees with union thugs to beat the crap out of anyone threatening the cops to break up wildcat strikes.

Wake up Americans! The Republicans want indentured servitude and serfdom reinstated, and many of you are too fucking stupid to realize it as your houses are confiscated and your health insurance is stolen. Wake the fuck up and get your collective head out of your ass.

Michele Bachmann as a Conservative

She describes herself as a "conservative" but just what is she trying to conserve? She espouses and votes for huge Federal intrusions into privacy, espouses and approves of gargantuan military budgets (War on Terror, of which she wholeheartedly approved, and Obama, in my opinion, is scarcely doing any better on that front, his Afghanistan policy is going to be an enormous failure), and basically wants a police state to look into "un-American activities" of some her fellow House members.

I can accept some right-wingers' honest debate of the issues, but it baffles me why right-wingers love or want Bachmann to be a spokesperson. She is logically inconsistent, and has no problem making herself look like a total idiot on TV. She does not come across as thoughtful, bright, pensive, or even well-read about her own Republican colleagues' platform. In short, she strikes me as the proverbial, drooling moron who readily takes the bait. And to make it all a bit creepier, she has that plastered smile on her face the whole time: one wonders if she comes from Stepford.

Coleman = Republican Scum

There is no difference between the Republican Party and those who want total power at whatever cost. Coleman, when he was in the lead, wanted it settled quickly; now, he's down, and wants it prolonged. What a fucking scum hypocrite; but, then again, that is synonymous with most Republicans (honest Republicans are an endangered species and should be Federally listed).

The same people...

Who are joining these parties are the same people who supported Bush, who, by the way, let the deficit EXPLODE. So, in my view, they are intellectually dishonest, not sincere, and don't give a rat's ass about the deficit. They don't care about their children, or children's children. It is complete bullshit. They only want complete, total power. That's it: make no mistake, these people are vile, drooling, foaming-in-mouth fascists.

OK, I can see the point...

I'm pissed off also about the tax money going to Wall Street, but not money for green jobs, teachers, infrastructure, and true investment in the US.

These people, I suspect, are not differentiating the good investments from the theft, so I think their anger is misplaced.

For example, spending trillions on Iraq and Afghanistan does nothing for our country. NOTHING. So, I keep asking, WHERE WERE THESE PEOPLE THE LAST 8 YEARS? Were they brain dead or are they brain washed?

And don't let the door hit your ass on the way out

And take your stupid, fucking inbred jackasses with you. Smart Texans will likely move out of the state as it becomes a backwater full of uneducated ilk.

Joan, you're missing the obvious!

Start with Bush and Cheney-these criminals should be prosecuted, and go down from there.

UGH

Your entire argument rests only on bigotry. We don't really need any more illogic being published at Salon, do we?

How about the government recognizing NO MARRIAGES? That's what I'm for. It's a religious institution, brought about by patriarchal society for the benefit of regulating property. That's all!

Here is your logic...

My neighbor straps on a big, black dildo and fucks her husband up the ass.

I don't fuck or love this way at all, but it's legal. I don't like it at all, because I personally disapprove of it myself (and the thought of the dildo being BLACK is especially repulsive) and therefore it should be ILLEGAL simply because these are not my tastes. This is simply your reasoning: and it contains no logic, but all bigotry. You've not made a convincing argument why the state should regulate marriage in the first place.

So, I wonder, how my neighbor fucking her husband up the ass with a big, black dildo impacts me?

So Fox News interviews war criminals

What else is new? Cheney is a criminal; he's just not locked up. Rather, he walks the streets and menaces us all with interviews on Fascist TV networks.

Cover for the criminals

BushCo was nothing more than a vast criminal enterprise. We need a fucking revolution in this country to overthrow the gang of thugs that run the economy, manufacturing, the banks, etc. It's always the same in every class-divided society: everything for the rich, screw the rest of us. It's like Dennis said, "Wake up America!"

Nothing New Here

Any of us paying attention to Republican tactics could have written this.

BWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

Commitment to reform! That's good. Is anyone stupid enough to believe that a deal can be made?

Obama and Congress, with the help of the Few Things Considered, have led the American people to believe that a "broad spectrum" of representatives were present.

Not a single advocate for single-payer healthcare was present.

This is the only sane solution. The insurance industry just needs to die and wither away.

OH MY GOD

A Republican argument that isn't based on scientific thinking? It can't be!
