Original article: Class warfare? Bring it on

The Republicans are right for once

As Marx pointed out, all human history is a history of class warfare, at least since classes started to develop. There is ALWAYS tension between classes. But, as you and others have pointed out, the Republicans are of course not intellectually honest about the fact that wealth has shifted from the poor to the rich.

We need to hit back hard and honestly. Yes, we have class warfare, and we're going to take some of that wealth and re-distribute it to those who actually work and produce the wealth.

We need a president who will look the camera in the eye and say exactly that.

So, the conclusion is?

Capitalism sucks?

I just joined the Socialist Party USA. I'm now a card-carrying Commie. Love it.

Well, yeah...

Tracy,

As you well know, the mainstream media is populated with journalists who are lazy, ignorant, and stupid. If they aren't, they are forced to be by their editors. The stories are eviscerated to cater to the most base, coarse, and crass reactions from viewers. TV is especially mindless, and the print media is scarcely better.

Remember that scene in the film "Reds"?

Warren Beatty plays Jack Reid, a socialist/communist journalist. He's at a dinner and the chair of the dinner asks, "Jack, what do you think this war is about?" (WWI).

He stands up and says one word, "Profits".

Throw Socialims back in their faces

The government runs the US Marine Corps. Therefore, that is socialist, and the US Marines must really suck. What a terribly run organization it is; cost over-runs, and the marines are poorly trained and not effective. As does the VA system that takes care of the troops, that must suck as well. You don't see troops marching in the streets demanding to purchase health care insurance on the open market.

Yes, Americans are woefully uneducated.

Embryos are not legally protected, nor should they be

The concept of a legally recognized human life begins at birth. This is my opinion and I think all other societies previously have recognized this. (Indeed I think many practiced infanticide as a necessity).

I wish Obama had stated that. We don't need embryos and fetuses as protected citizens. Period.

Having said that, everything else that the opposition brings is shot down. Obama needs to grow a pair and tell it like it is.

Original article: Caught in a Steele trap

Old, angry white males who cannot

reconcile themselves with the racial and sexual make-up of 21st America just need to die off, without reproducing.

Original article: Scoring Gibbs vs. Cheney

It's OK to hit back

When attacked. Turnabout is fair play when you didn't instigate the petty comments. Besides, Gibbs is being really too kind.

The vast majority of your colleagues in the mainstream media are ignorant, lazy, and stupid (Glenn Beck, O'Reilly, Jon King, etc.) as you know, Joan. So, what else do they have to report? It's not as if they are going to think, and write/report something that takes effort, interviews, smart editing. Pure crap is mostly what is on the air these days.

Where was this motherfucker the past 8 years?

The Iraq War will cost up to three trillion dollars. None of that money will benefit the American people. None. So, like other Republicans, this scum-bag, rich white boy has no moral authority. Because of his support for endless war, and endless empire, the US will go the way of the Soviet Union, and other military-crazed empires: into the dust-bin of history.

Our days as an empire are quickly coming to an end. Obama's mistake is that there is too much spending on the military. We need at least a 2/3 cut in military spending, with the remaining personnel re-assigned to job duties stateside, shoring up our infrastructure.

I almost no longer feel sorry for Americans. They are so fucking stupid that they can't seem to connect the dots and figure out what got us into the mess. Maybe they deserve what's coming, to shock them out of the stupor and wake up.

The only mainstream politician with a national stage to call it like it is was Dennis Kucinich.

We need a Revolution

We need a socialist revolution to overthrow this stinking, rotting cesspool of a government.

Tuesday, March 24, 2009 03:04 PM

We need a revolution

Throw the scumbag, anit-union bums out of office. We need a fucking socialist revolution with mass strikes, work stoppages, etc. People need to revolt and raise hell like Mother Jones and Eugene Debs did. Sadly, most people don't even know who these people were.

These same slobbering Republicans

in Pennsylvania approved of trillions of wasted money in Iraq and approved of every fucking pork-barrel project the Republicans passed. It's hard to have sympathy for slobbering working-class morons who have to shop at Wal-Mart and live in dilapidated trailers to make ends meet. They need to look in the mirror and blame themselves for the shithole mess the country is in.

As for Specter, he'll vote to fuck the poor and working class to save his own shriveled-up, wrinkly skin. May he burn in Hell.

Ban antibiotics for creationists

I wish we could have these morons forcibly tatooed on the forehead: CREATIONIST. That way, if they do have a life-threatening bacterial infection, we can deny them antibiotics when they go to the pharmacy, because they don't "believe" in evolution, the very theory that gave rise to the development of antibiotics. In this way, we might be able to cull our herd of the morons, so we can minimize their reproduction.

I'm a vicious bitch.

@rrheard

Dead on brother/sister. Unfortunately, you are correct: the bar is so pathetically low as to be nonexistent.

We are re-living serfdom. I've been working for over 22 years in the market and I'm convinced more in the last two years that everything Marx and Engels wrote about capitalism is true. It IS wage slavery, with really nothing substantially different than slavery/serfdom. It's really sad.

We desperately need a genuine, democratic, socialist revolution to overthrow the capitalist system. For all our sakes.

Original article: Faux outrage at Fox News

Well, it works like this, Joan

When mindless Americans watch Fox News, like my father, the TV beeps, and then they all drool on cue. Then the newscaster throws them a treat that they lap up. It's a conditioned response that Pavlov discovered.

Sorry, Dad, I call 'em like I see 'em. Still love ya, though.
