[Read the article: Obama and Clinton fizzle in Philly]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I write this with all sincerity: go ahead and vote for McCain in November if Barack wins the nomination. You are a complete and total moron. I don't know where to begin...you are so in love with Hillary that your emotions overwhelm you. You obviously are not qualified to vote intelligently.
Go ahead and screw your grandkids (should you have any), as they pay for your reckless war you supported long after you're dead, as well as bequeathing them a decayed cesspool of a country called the United States, where more and more people are imprisoned than are educated, give a pass to a treasonous president who will not be investigated and only pardoned for lying to and slaughtering millions of people, and watch as the income inequality accelerates under 8 years of McCain. Yes, go ahead and vote for McCain because you find Obama's responses to Wright and "Bittergate" unacceptable. You obviously watch too much TV and salivate with your mouth open while doing it. Brain dead.
The truth is that compared to McCain, there are few differences separating Hillary and Barack. I can't stand Hillary's shrill, petty outbursts, and she's stupid for making crap up like she was against NAFTA and blah, blah, blah. However, I'm sucking it up and giving her a chance should she win the nomination, even if there are riots over the supers giving her the crown. I simply have to. This country called the USA has turned into a proto-facist shithole after 8 years of the criminals running it into the ground. For God's sake, wake up.
What a moron you are. Really.

An Elitist Response
[Read the article: The fallout from the Democratic debate]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If Americans truly care more about Hillary dodging sniper fire in Bosnia than the details of her healthcare proposal, then I say they are complete, unreformable idiots, plain and simple, and should receive everything they deserve: lower wages, fewer jobs, higher fuel costs, more war, no health insurance. If, after having been hit over the head with bricks for years, they still get don't get it, let 'em suffer.
How's that for elitist?

Hillary is distressing me...
[Read the article: Debating the debate, complaining about complaining]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Every time I think she's campaigning better, she goes and does shit like this. Really, she's quite awful: yes, she is a chronic liar, mostly about trivial stuff (spins the way Rove does, yes). But don't forget that she lied about her Iraq War vote, which is nearly unforgiveable, because it goes to the heart of who she truly is: an opportunist who chose to vote for what she perceived was in HER best interest (running for Prez) instead of voting in the interests of her NY state constituents or of the country.
I keep telling myself to ignore these campaign tactics because if somehow she does win the nomination I'll be forced to vote for her (a thought I'm not relishing). It's difficult to do this because her true sleazy nature keeps shining through. And it isn't pretty.

Joan really needs to go back to school
[Read the article: Will Obama's debate stumble hurt him?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Tough questions? Joan, you've got to be kidding. Do you think we're that dumb?
You've been on the air and around the stupid pundits that you claim to disdain. You're becoming more and more like Steffuck and Gibgoober. Those debate questions weren't intellectual in that they didn't stimulate any discussion/analysis. It was all vapid crap. The anti-intellectual strain in American discourse strikes again. No wonder the Europeans think we're all idiots.
Maybe you should apply for a job as editor at People. That's about the level of what your analysis is.

O'Hehir is missing the 800 pound gorilla this time...
[Read the article: The haunting of the Democrats]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The right-wing media, which nearly borders on Fascism, is wholly owned by corporations, literally, 100%.
We don't have a major national daily newspaper or TV channel that devotes itself to labor issues, a news channel that focuses not on stocks "business news", or celebrity news, but directed toward working people. There are hundreds of issues the major media don't report, not the least of which is the criminal behavior of employees of the Bush Administration. Outside of Glenn Greenwald, Mother Jones, the Nation, Against the Current, Z Magazine, and some other, small left-wing American journals, virtually nothing of importance to working people gets published. Every now and then there are a few exceptions that surprise me, but for the most part, nothing.
It is indeed a vast, intellectual wasteland out there.

Her Royal Majesty
[Read the article: What to expect when you're expecting (primary results)]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Will plod along with her small win. Not much will change; this will go on until the convention. Trust me. This woman believes that the nomination is rightfully hers. Not until the door is firmly shut will she give up.

Why does Obama win over more better educated voters than Clinton?
[Read the article: Demographic breakdowns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I've seen this poll after poll: that Clinton does well with those without a university education while Obama pulls in more of them. Ummmm....

@Taritac
[Read the article: Demographic breakdowns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]No, I'm not mad. I thought along similar lines.
For the record, I'm an Obama fan. I'll vote for Clinton if she wins the nomination. The reason I didn't vote for her here in Ohio is because she is too conservative. And, I'm really pissed that she can't come out and say "I made a mistake voting for authorization for Bush to go to Iraq." I mean, my god, this Iraq War vote is huge for me. I can barely stomach voting for her Royal Majesty because of this. McCain, Clinton, Obama, now which one was against the war, right from the start, like I was?

[Read the article: Networks say Clinton will win Pennsylvania]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You must be smoking some crack down there in Texas, honey. I hate to break y'all the news but Madame Clinton isn't going to win the nomination, 'cause the supers wouldn't let the crown go to the one without the popular vote lead, nor, more importantly the pledged delegate lead.
But you get an "A" for enthusiasm.

[Read the article: Networks say Clinton will win Pennsylvania]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Looks like Clinton attracts the more under-educated crowd who might go for McCain in the general election.
Well, he can have them. Doesn't say a lot for Clinton.
