I'm not sure when it happened exactly, but the Washington Post clearly has become a Fox News surrogate. When visited a few years back, the WaPo commanded respect because of their willingness to take risks, write the truth no matter the consequences, and first and foremost speak reality!

They have now become just what the country needs the least - a pandering, NO standards, self-indulged rag worthy of no respect, save a few of the hold-overs from days gone by, and another pawn in the Bush/Cheeney noise machine.

Time for someone there to get rid of the KoolAide truck that parks in their lot every morning with refills, and start telling the truth again.

Let's consider one, simple point..ANY Senator can "hold" legislation for ANY reason they want..and can even do it without having their name associated with the "hold" publicly. So WHY didn't anyone step forward, publicly or not and "hold" the FISA bill??

Warren reminded me of Oral Roberts secluded on the top floor of the tower in Tulsa saying if his listeners didn't send him a million dollars he would not come down!! I sure hope he's still there, but I doubt it.

Obama's appearance at Warren's get together was a setup from the start. And, the bold face LIE Warren told about McSame being segregated at the beginning should have been a straight up give away..We should know by now this is a rigged game..to quote an old westerner, "Never bring a knife to a gun fight"....

It's amazing how quickly Rove wrote this speech! He's so busy now days with Fox news and his smear tour that finding the time must be a stretch..It must be a new mixture of the KoolAide supplement!

IF the republicans want to run on the issues rather than a beauty contest the game is over, but the media still seems to be dwelling on the money teet where they're comfortable with no accountability.

If anyone looks past the smoke and mirrors and thinks of the implications these lunatics can have over our lives for generations, maybe centuries by appointing three judges on the Supreme Court to overturn most of laws from the last 50-80 years then they may think twice. But Rove is counting on everyone loosing sight of that small issue.
