drinking the kool-aid

it used to be fun to listen to a "video editor" go off on a rant when you start to list the problems of apple's "final cut pro" application... it is so strange to me how they embrace the bugs rather than demand a fix-

the hilarious part is that there is a rumor that apple wants to sell off the "pro" media products

ha!

i refuse to drink the kool-aid

its not about the girl

for me, it is about the hypocrisy that is the conservative platform-

the republican golden boy rush limbaugh became the darling for railing against "welfare mothers" while the white house creates policy to allow doctors, hospitals, and pharmacists the option NOT to provide contraceptives to women-

obama did the right thing in stating that family is off-limits- but jeeeze!, when will the left find their cajones and go after the ultra-right for the hypocrisy of the conservative agenda

Original article: Questions for Sarah Palin

great questions from all

sadly, we should have a pool as to just how many nice and easy ones will be tee'd up- 90%? 95%

good grief

Original article: Questions for Sarah Palin

abc has posted some of the interview... you have to watch an ad from citco (an oil company) first-

Original article: President Bailout

what if?

let say that a group of really evil guys wants the "ultimate" power... how would they do it? threats? force? a really big game of 3 card monte? all of the above?

i really hate to be a conspiracy theorist but this administration has done an amazing job of consolidating power- military, communications, law and now money and real estate

not only have we stood by and allowed this to happen, we are going to pay for it all too

its really too bad

i disagree with you on the point of broadband wireless- what i felt was great about satellite was the fact that i had that premium service available to me anywhere (ok- except tunnels) i cant even get a signal on my #&*!%@ sprint cell phone in MANY parts of seattle wa- and i will expect broadband wireless everywhere in north america?

i used be a subscriber of sirius and LOVED it... if i could afford it now id have it- i just needed the cash elsewhere

basic document sync app

i will make this brief... why did apple choose to NOT to include a simple app like "notes" on the iphone/itouch available for sync on os10.5.x? (that would mean a "notes" application for my workstation)

google sync sounds great and all, but it is not what i am looking for- what i am trying to find is a journal type app that i can sync with my workstation... i dont want to email it to myself or require a web page and internet access- should be simple enough, yeah?

someone recently wrote an article in salon describing all the short attention apps that are currently available- and although they are quite amazing, the 99 cent price tag reminds me of the toys in a gumball machine- good for 20 minutes

so far, filemaker bento looks like what i want but it is somewhat over kill-

thanks for letting me vent
