HAHAHAHAHA
[Read the article: Work sucks? Blame her!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]So they bitch and complain about not being able to work in the same jobs as men, and now they want to bitch and complain about working too hard?
Tough! You got what you wanted.
Women work hard because now they have to. Also women don't get raises as much as men because most women (not all, mind you, but most) take the kids to the doctor, take time out for pregnancy, and all that other stuff that HAS to be done...but unfortunately, the women are penalized for the loss of time at work...it sucks that's life.
Just remember - you can't blame the workplace for the fact that NOW you have to work...you can thank feminism for that! Oh and men haven't had the power Catherine SAYS they do since women forced their way onto the workplace. Sorry Catherine, but you just can't blame men for the mess feminism created for it's followers.
Put the blame where it DESERVES to be!

re: Work sucks? Blame yourself.
[Read the article: Work sucks? Blame her!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Anne in NYC,
"What’s the worst that happens? They tell you to get back to work or you’re fired? Whatever – I’d just go back to my desk, brush off my resume and the end result would be me at a better job."
Not only that...you could file a complaint with OSHA as there is a limit to how much overtime they can request an employee to do and it is figured by the TOTAL number of employees a business employs!

HELPING the party???!!!
[Read the article: How the long primary battle helps Democrats]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]HAHAHAHAHAHA!
They have GOT to be kidding! Look at the polls...the longer Obama and Hillary argue and fight among themselves, the better it looks for McCain.
The longer the two Democratic candidates fight, the more McCain looks good to the voters...and that is the simple truth.

The problem with this article is...
[Read the article: The GOP attack plan for Hillary Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]there IS no GOP attack plan for Hillary...because they don't NEED one.
Conveniently for the Republican party, Hillary and Obama are tearing each other apart, while McCain only needs to sit back and watch the fight.
When the primary is over, McCain will have AMPLE political ammunition from the losing candidate to overwhelm the Democratic Nominee.
This is the logical conclusion I have reached and it is backed up by the current polls as well.

What we are talking about here...
[Read the article: Can the president order state judges around?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]is the separation of powers. NO, the President can't tell state judges what to do...but the State Supreme court and the US Supreme Court CAN.
Seems pretty straight-forward to me.

re: Winner Take All!
[Read the article: The GOP attack plan for Hillary Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]fortunecookie,
"Whoever wins the Democratic nomination will be confronted with the Republican dirty tricks, no matter what John McCain says."
Sorry fortunecookie, but there will be no need for dirty tricks. The Democratic nominee will have sufficient baggage from the current war which is waging now (and make no mistake, it is now a political war) that John McCain will simply use all that is now out there and win hands down.
The Democratic Primary has provided him all the ammunition he needs to win. Take a look at the polls. It's not looking good for either Obama OR Hillary right now!!!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]SueNJ97.
"In November, instead of sitting home in a snit because 'my' candidate (which is actually neither of these candidates, the one I preferred is long gone) didn't get the nomination, or voting for McCain because 'my' candidate didn't get the nomination, I'll do what I need to do, which is pull the lever or push the button for the Democrat."
Unfortunately, many will not which means a likely win for John McCain. Frankly, I think Obama and Hillary have done this to themselves!!!

re: Hillary Rodham Clinton
[Read the article: The GOP attack plan for Hillary Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hankster,
"There are also a great many people out here who do look forward to eight more years of Clinton administration, not 4000 kids dead."
Good luck with that...but given the current political climate, you'll forgive me if I do not hold my breath.
BTW, the 4,000 dead are not "kids" but volunteer soldiers who have to be at least 18 or older and have voluntarily signed a contract with the US government to be a soldier in the US military. At least they had the option of choosing to join, rather than being drafted.

Re: It's all how you phrase it
[Read the article: The farmer formerly known as Marvin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]essmeier,
"If you feel that way, why keep using the term "pro-life"? Why not refer to those people with a term that accurately describes their agenda? Instead of "pro-life", call them what they are: pro-forced-pregnancy."
OR essmeier, we could call pro-abortion people, "pro-death" people instead. After all, as you so eloquently said, it's all how you phrase it.

[Read the article: The farmer formerly known as Marvin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]emma42,
"While no one would be silly enough to argue that pro-lifers would ever force people to get pregnant (as you imply, that's of course ludicrous), I think the argument can be made that pro-lifers are in fact trying to force women to STAY pregnant."
Sorry emma, but I take the attitude that pro-lifers are telling women to take responsibility for their actions. If you want to play, you'd better be able to pay.
Of course I am a bit biased being Catholic.
