One page of previous posts, were you one of those rabid anonymouses previously?

Every one of your posts spouts the same bile, now at least there is another name to add to people to ignore.

    From todays NYTimes

    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/15/us/politics/15wright.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin

One of the statements that have been most replayed this week comes from the sermon Mr. Wright delivered following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

“We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards,” he said. “America’s chickens are coming home to roost.”

Asked in an interview last March to explain the sermon, Mr. Wright said he had been questioning the country’s desire for vengeance against the perpetrators, counseling his congregants to look inward instead.

You know what? I happen to agree with Mr. Wright more than any single bullshit rant you have said since your very first post at Salon.

The topic is surely ripe for rational debate and it certainly is a grotesque failure of Alex, once again to bring something of newsworthy note up, but your posts are so rabid as to negate them having any meaning. I'm a reluctant Obama supporter but the more I see this rabid and foaming mouthed litany against him the more the whole process disgusts me and actually makes me support him more, so your work at conversion has FAILED.

Make some suggestions, offer alternatives or at the very least spare us but one rant per topic about your hate for Obama or any other thing for that matter because you're not offering any solutions and are part of the problem.

  • and news about a blog war...

[Read the article: Daily Kos writers' "strike" gets ugly]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    ...is war room news? How?

We're on the verge of a complete financial meltdown and neither Democratic candidates have made a peep? If they did, War Room didn't report it.

No War Room reports that other blogs are on fire with outrage.

    Jesus.

    Who cares?

  • Glenn, Glenn, what's the problem?

The MSM has being doing this for 7+ years to the criminals in the White House why should they break form now and actually report the truth?

Why the house of cards might come down.

[Read the article: Seduced by the Dalai Lama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"with all due apologies for my Western bias -- this is horseshit."

No, your interpretation of Buddhism following a Western idea of morality and ethics is bullshit. It's paper thin, it's taking the finger pointing at the moon for being the moon, etc, etc.

Sophomoric, immature and out of your league.

Not that I care to defend the Dali Lama, I could care less. It's the arrogance of the western ideal of judeo-christian ethics being taken as some supreme 'truth'.

Oh, Salon isn't worth this, it's just more noise, I'm noise, this article is noise, this world is noise.

good luck asking Jennings what he thinks now because he's been dead since August 2005 from lung cancer.

Not to go OT on this but if it weren't for Glenn and some of the folks here adding links to other articles, opinion, etc (and also the missed Tim Grieve, war room 'ain't the same without him) and the foreign news I read or hear- BBC, der Spiegel, Stern and 'other' sources I would go mad.

As for the MSM, I was abroad for a month last summer and the first thing I did upon return to the states was cancel my tv service. The noise pollutes your mind, doesn't give you space to think, let alone accurate information. As for C. Rose's format, it harkens back to the old days of tv and I'd rather watch Tom Snyder than the fake folksy bullshit of Rose any day.

But back on topic- I remember hearing other voices regarding our invasion, or regarding Israel and Hamas, etc and almost all of it came from BBC radio broadcasts. I think they can be tainted but I've heard Robin Lustig grill people in interviews that I can only dream of happening here.

The sources are out there but not here.

I love that we no longer have the anonymous option. Now we can see that all letters by 'theplanner' and 'sonofloud' are always rants about Obama.

If they spent equal time, or any time critiquing their candidate whoever that might be I might be inclined to read them but since they are incapable of anything but a one note shrill screed they negate themselves of meaning or content.

Sorry it's OT but these new clowns make me sick. Carry on.

Funny how the proper 'wording' or lacking 'disclaimer' is attacked but then the wrong person is blamed, Alex is gone and it was posted by Steven Benen, great reading comprehension there. What did you miss in "some..., wasn't scientific, etc." Pretty disclaimer obvious but more to the point is ABC running the story and what that portends if any thing is of interest.

Frankly Steve, already in two days you've brought war room back to some life that was lacking in Koppelman. Now it seems there is something on Salon besides Greenwald to pay attention to. Now if we can only get Joan to go on vacation too.

  • you deserve credit Glenn

maybe not all but more than a fair share for this.

Some of us have to work or scrape by and can't pay attention to the details (and there are so many lies and details) as much as we would like but your efforts at hi-lighting such abuses (and others) allows us to focus what time we do have to fight back.

You've taken up where the fourth estate has dropped the ball (or is outright complicit)
