snow job
[Read the article: Snow retreats on claims about the prosecutor purge]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I bet you can't throw a rock in the white house and not hit someone complicit in one way or another with the ever increasing lies. I can only imagine what deeper dirt awaits if we actually had a more active and free press because the current news is stuff they can hardly ignore now that Brittany and Anna Nicole have run their news cycle.

minutes
[Read the article: A question of trust]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]whats 18+ days in comparison to 18.5 minutes?
This administration has amplified every Nixon wrong past the Richter scale.
At the end of the day, should we ever really find out the truth(s) it could make Watergate seem like a Sunday walk in the Park.

Where is the NSA when you need them?
[Read the article: Follow the e-mails]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]One can only hope that somewhere deep within the archives of the NSA and all of their illegal wiretaps that they (Bush and Co), out of their collective mistrust, paranoia and hate have managed to spy on one another.
Then perhaps we could breathe a collective sigh of relief when turdblossom, Fredo, Darth Cheney and our would be puppet dictator are found to have completely implicated themselves with their own laws and we can send them to prison, for life.

fork it, they're done.
[Read the article: A beautiful mosaic of anti-blogger hatred]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Maybe if they actually performed their 'jobs' as journalists instead of as functioning arms of the propaganda machine they would have a point. But they don't, they are done, the writing is being writ on the wall and some are slowly realizing that intelligent people have the option of not buying their bunk and aren't.
Yes there are blogs that are terrible, misleading, etc. etc. etc. To cast out all blogs as being irrelevant, dangerous, irresponsible because of a few is foolish because by that very same logic the same could and should be said of the so called 'media'. The continued blather of any Murdoch owned media enterprise negates the relevance of any decent news source because with Fox the dumbing down began in earnest and they eagerly followed further into mediocrity.
In my opinion the MSM is complicit with the moral and ethical bankruptcy in this country and the likes of Joe Klein, Yoo, MSNBC, Lou Dobbs, etc, etc, etc. should be shouted down for their lies. And if these 'noble' journalists or media whores don't like the voices of others who see through their filth then perhaps they ought to buck up or f**k off.

Der Untergang
[Read the article: Unsynchronized spinning]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I couldn't help but be reminded of this in reading about Rove's outburst. They're in the bunker in and on so many different levels and meanings. The walls are collapsing, just not soon enough.

no way
[Read the article: Hillary and the e-word]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As a registered democrat in New York, I can tell you I won't vote for her. I wouldn't vote for her it it were her against Cheney. Why? Because I've come to the point that voting for the lesser of two evils is not the lesser of two evils.
She backed an illegitimate war and is a tool of the establishment in every conceivable way. If the Democratic party allows her to win the nomination after Bush's low numbers and general disgust with the Republicans, and then throw the election to them again, which I won't be surprised with. Then we have lost.
I am already laying the groundwork to emigrate and my family has been here since the 1690's and includes members of the DAR (daughters of the american revolution). This country is lost or is about to be.

re calcareous
[Read the article: Hillary and the e-word]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This country can go f**k itself. I've been involved in protests for nearly 25 years and it just gets worse and worse. More people fleeing to bogus religion, anti-science and creationism, more people interested in Paris Hilton, etc, etc.
My country needs me? My country has done its best to make me feel unwelcome for questioning authority and it's abuse. If americans, including the democrats and republicans are happy with the status quo then 'we' deserve the democracy we have.
Given the abuse of power by our current executive branch, I think most if not all citizens should be out in the street in mass protest but instead we're more willing to suck up Paris Hilton on Larry King.
Suck it up, no thanks, have had enough for 45 years of this hypocrisy.

re cosmique
[Read the article: There's always Nixon]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Right on but just as importantly, if not more so, and still yet to be felt is Bush's new supreme court over the course of the "Roberts Years", they threaten to take us back to the 19th century.
Then our descendants will really be asking 'what the f?'

media
[Read the article: Columbia to be punished for hosting the new Hitler enemy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Another outstanding piece from Glenn. Here in New York we are confronted with the daily rags screaming “Iranian Madman”, “The Evil has Landed”, “Access of Evil”, “Go to Hell” etc and couldn’t help but think what a calm, loving of rational discourse land I have the pride to live in.
There is so much outrage and shock when we see images from the middle east with similar headlines but instead of Ahmadinejad’s image we see one of George W. but somehow turnaround is fair game.
But after reading daily Glenn’s column and watching this country reduced to an electorate of idiots who can’t be bothered to be informed it has become painfully apparent that the MSM is now officially and ostensibly the propaganda wing of the government.

plus parting gift
[Read the article: Why stop at $9.11 when you could ask for $911?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]perhaps Rudy could give away t-shirts that say "I was in NY on 911 and all I got was this T-shirt" or something to that effect.
