The woman I'm talking about has many wonderful (If slightly crazily employed) traits though. She's a very attentive mother, has very high moral standards, but cannot get her life together at all. She's 41 now, and has never held a job, or any close personal relationships. It's sad to watch.

We share the kids equally and do our best never to bad-mouth the other (doesn't always work, as the frustration boils over).

Having children may not have been carefully thought-out choice at the time; but, once you're there, you gotta do the deal. We talk every day, sometimes do things together, and right now; I am baby-sitting her child by another man. So she can make a court appearance, for yet another of her mis-guided descisions. I pay for the entire deal though I am not a rich man by any means. People call me an enabler; but I know that her life would fall to pieces in a month if I didn't contribute the way I do. I just think some people are SO damaged by the traumas of their early lives that they are doing the best they can.

It’s fun to see them discredited, it’s fun to shine a spotlight on their abject ignorance and intolerance. It’s also way cool to watch the moral grandstanders shopping for sex in public toilets, abusing their wives and children, and while preaching fiscal-responsibility, running the richest nation on the planet into bankruptcy through war and reckless military spending, but hooking-up their corporate buddies on the way out the door.
