I just want to know, how’s that whole “Trickle Down, let the market regulate itself, small government, laissez faire” thing workin’ out? Answer: (slapping forehead) Doh! Why in the hell would anyone at the top trickle down a red cent? Ans: They kept the cent, then sold it to someone else, and now want two cents from you. OK? It’s human nature.

You know, AIG made good on it’s obligations to insure this toxic debt to account holders, many foreign entities like; UBS and Deuthchebank, at par value. They have to deal with their buddies on an on-going basis. They paid them with your and my money. Meaning; the cigar-chomping good-ol’-boys got paid about 100% on the dollar. While I see that my children’s college fund is now worth 46% of what I contributed.

I remember re-financing about three years ago. The broker I dealt with sounded like he was straight out of central-casting for “The Sopranos”. He didn’t care about the old standards like credit score etc., it was like, “No problem, just pay the $3,000 fee and we’ll get you in”.

The point I’m trying to make is that the money has already been stolen; particularly by brokers/traders. The game was the short-term associated costs and commissions. Now the gamers have quite-literally “left the building”. They are like the people who foul airplane toilets or porta-potties; they’re gone, you have to sit in the shit.

The guys at the top have “Trickled” on you, let the market “regulate” itself and decided that the world is constructed philosophically by self-interest. Got it?

IS it possible that the gummin’t knows something we don’t? I’m not defending them at all. I mean I hate these bastards; and I could probably wow you with my liberal opinions. I don’t see any other reason for the democratic/liberal compliance with past egregious behavior. The dems on the congressional committees who went along with the Patriot act, voted to go along with protection for the Telecoms, refused to prosecute the criminal Bush administration, skirted torture issues, and refused to categorically end rendition and our secret extra-legal sites.

It just doesn’t make sense. Could it be that an attack is immanent? What else would explain their weirdly out-of-character voting? DO they know something?

I know “911 Truthers” get flamed here all the time, and I’m not going there. Just saying it’s one of two things:

1. Our representatives are pathologically F’d up. I mean seriously. They are in bed with lobbyists and big biz (and BANKS); and are so arrogant that they will let the whole damned country go to shit, so that they and their buddies will profit. I believe that this is totally possible.

2. These guys know that the big deal is going to go down; and the only way to possibly thwart it, is to get lucky and snag the one e-mail that matters. This would explain a lot of their actions. If that is the case, it is a crime or a sin however you want to categorize it; not to let us know.

Oh for Crissake give it a rest, Spitzer “busted a prostitution ring”? Making him, therefore a hypocrite. There’s a huge difference between the clients and sponsors of any illegal betting, loan sharking, prostitution ring. Where have you been living? I watched the mob take down all kinds of regular guys with regular weaknesses; ruined their lives, betting mainly, but coke and drinking and much worse. Some are dead; I watched one settle-up with his mom and dad at the table….pathetic. The dude was a player too!

Sexual activity has NEVER had a place at the table of politics. For one example; DOES anyone know what the understanding between Hillary and Bill Clinton was exactly? What about John Edwards and his wife? Does anyone but them know? Why do they get judged-sexually-by some “Ad Men” 50ies standard?

For years and years: most of our history, this stuff was off the table. Eisenhower, a known womanizer, c’mon JFK? MLK? Jefferson or RFK? Pussie hounds all. I can respect that. They were men, and the women they made –happy-with were willing accomplices. And that’s how it should be.

The only reason this shit matters is because the wingnut uptight assholes have a foothold on the public pulse; and they keep what is apparently 32% of the population really inflamed. One way they do that is through sexual guilt/repression. We cannot let the most insecure/aggressive third of our population call the tune. They should understand how out of touch they are. That is slowly accomplished by the majority of us telling them that their outmoded, paranoid, insular, viewpoints are the problem. NOT the solution.

Oh, and Elliot Spitzer was weak and banged a great-looking prostitute. Before that; he had been an extremely effective advocate for justice: particularly a for the common man against the oligarchy which has now RAPED our country. How many great-looking ho’s and nice hotel-rooms can 750 billion buy?
