  • There is NO idealism in Big Business, only entitlement

The use of biofuels as part of America's energy mix seems like a good idea whose time has come. Some serious research and study is needed to bring this to fruition. I think it can be done because Brazil is doing it and because it makes sense, but... But there are some concerns that need to be studied and addressed. No matter what anyone thinks Big Ag is most definitely not drawn to this task because of idealism. There is no idealism in Big Business, there just is no such concept in there hearts. Big Business has no shame any more and has not had for the last thirty or more years. This lack of shame in the thinking and operations of Big Business is spreading and getting worse. Enron would rape it's share holders forever if it could have gotten away with it. There is a corollary to this Enron situation, which is it's share holders would want Enron to rape America on behalf of themselves (the share holders) forever, if possible.

It cannot be said often enough, so I will say it repeatedly, that Big Business has absolutely no idealism because they have no shame, as the Japanese do. Big Business in America is controlled by the concept of quarterly profit, huge salaries for top execs and an overwhelming sense that they are entitled to every dime and dollar they can beg, borrow or as in most cases just outright steal via some form of corruption.

Agribusiness is Big Business and as such feels it is 'entitled' to everything it can steal from government via subsidies or from the American people.

Agribusiness must not be allowed to turn this situation into another pork barrel project. The oil/energy businesses must be kept out of this situation or they will most certainly turn it into a win/rape the public situation instead of a win-win-win situation. The perfect analog is the Medicare Part D program which is a disaster for America and benefits only the prescription drug industry. In other words, Bush and the Repubs have to be tightly controlled (which is nearly impossible) or better yet kept entirely out of the process because they will corrupt anything which will bring money to their political and personal coffers. The oil/energy industry has almost from it's beginnings been controlling government and thus raping America for it's own completely selfish interests. This industry is a major contributor to bringing down America and the world. This industry is completely out of control as is the prescription drug industry, the health care industry, the Repub Party and the Bush government.

Business must be protected and helped to thrive as is done in Finland but there are about a dozen businesses that have a corrupt stranglehold on America via Bush and the Repubs. All aspects of the insurance industry, the military/defense industries and the financial industries are to be included along with the aforementioned industries. The Bush/Repub government is the biggest industry in America that is completely out of control. Can 'we the people' regain control of this industry with it's uncontrolled spending and unbridled corruption. I think not, but 'we the people must try even though it is already too late. The Bush/Repubs seem hell bent on spending America into total financial ruin. This government is on a never ending quest to transfer taxpayer dollars over to the business sector until we completely devolve into financial ruin. I think that 'we the people' must try to regain control of our country and our government though we will get no help from any Repubs who are completely corrupted by greed and political power.

ALL the aforementioned businesses are corrupted by their sense of 'ENTITLEMENT' to every dollar they can in some way steal. This, of course includes the biggest business of all namely the Bush/Republican government including all the blind, knee jerk, lock step, 'Stepford' Republican members of the legislative, executive and judicial branches of government. This also must include, by association, all the Americans who voted for them.

It has been said that America will have to learn to live with a forty percent reduction in our standard of living but will ALL Americans be willing to do this before it's too late and we devolve into financial ruin. I think not.

Bush, the Repub Party, all Repub senators and 80% of Repub representatives think they are 'ENTITLED' to anything they can get. They have no shame. Their first allegiance is to their party, their second allegiance is to their wealthy friends and cronies, their third allegiance is to those big business that give money to them, their fourth allegiance is to certain select special interest groups like the fundamentalist religious right wingers such as the white southern baptists and the Catholic Church, my church I am ashamed to say. I don't see that they (the Bushies) have any allegiance to America or it's citizens.

Bush was born of privilege with a silver spoon in his mouth and feels he is 'ENTITLED' to everything he can steal from the American people. He is an alcoholic who talks, thinks, behaves and acts like an alcoholic. He suffers feeling of persecution and delusion. He thinks he is a born again christian when he is just a born again nazi/fascist. He thinks he knows the mind of God. He thinks he was chosen by God to do the work of God. My bible says that 'God chose his only begotten son'. I do not believe that God chose George Bush. Only George and a small number of radical right wing religious fundamentalists think he was chosen... And this is the guy who is president of the USA.
