Catholics, my church, and SBC will reveal the true depth and nature of their religiosity. I think their religiosity is almost purely political.
So much for the religiousness of the religious right.

Cheney And The Religious Right

So much for the religious right and their so called values.
I suppose I should 'make nice' with these people but I have been disgusted with their values since Reagan was pres and nuns were murdered, tortured and raped in central american countries by the religious right who supported Reagan, the Repubs and Reagans use of the CIA to cause this to happen.
And yes the Catholic Church, my church, also supported Reagan and his Republicans because John Paul II aligned the Catholic Church with the Rethug party so they are equally complicit as are the white southern confederate Baptists. This alignment continues to this very day and is just as strong. So much for the religion of the Baptists and the Catholics.
These people claim to be christians but they are really christian fasacist politicians. No religion should ever align itself with either political party in the US.
Any religious group which 'plays politics' has given up it's claim to be a religion. Do any of them remember the admonition by Jesus to Render to Caesar... Render to God...
What exactly is the matter with these creeps, supporting politicians and political parties that are complicit in committing the most heinous crimes against nuns. Nuns never threaten anyone.
These same groups and politicians are guilty of spying on Quackers, is there a more benevolent group in the US. Their religion is against war and killing of human beings. That is all their guilty of they are not terrorists they are against war which also means they are against terrorism because it involves the killing of people.
Every religion including the all the right wing fundies in the Catholic Church and every other church should be against war and the killing of human beings.
Let me repeat that for emphasis for members of those religions who are reading this. EVERY RELIGION SHOULD BE AGAINST WAR AND THE KILLING OF GOD'S CHILDREN. But these people are NOT PRO-LIFE they are only PRO-BIRTH.
The aforementioned religions just have their own agenda's and they WILL fulfill them NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE THEY HAVE TO KILL or how many Americans must be tortured in Bushie boys secret prisons. It's the Spanish Inquisition all over again.
The last justifiable war was WWII, and thats the bottom line. These political wars concocted by politicians for whatever reasons are not justifiable.
These fundamentalist religions and these politicians condemn themselves by their actions. It's just that simple.
WWJD, He most certainly would not be killing people. And georgie boy no matter what he says is not The Christ. But you fundie religious creeps just keep on following YOUR savior, he is not MY SAVIOR.
