Frontline, how wonderful and how did they do it???
[Read the article: A little love for Condi]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]May God have mercy on America if Condi ever becomes pres. She was a total failure at her job as NSA to Bush, 9/11 occurred on her watch and no one ever calls her on that fact. The tiny bit of comment/critique that has been leveled at her and fired in her direction has been so minimal and low key as to be completely ignored. Or did I just miss it.
The FBI had, as I recall, reported their suspicions before 9/11 ever occurred and she et.al. just ignored them.
It's amazing how Bush blames the intel community for what he thinks are their failures but he never acknowledges that the FBI gave their analysis and the CIA gavew their analysis and he, Cheney and Rummy just ignored what they didn't want to hear appropos of cherry picking.
These people are a pack of failures and incompentents, while at the same time Rummy and Dickie boy are a conspiracy cabal.
Everything said on Frontline last night matches everything that I know of from carefully watching the Bushies and reading news sources from all over the world and a large variety of authors from all over the world.
Frontline you did a great job and really hit the nail on the head.
What I can't figure out is how the Frontline staff and PBS/CPB were able to carry this out and get it on the air without the Bushies stopping it. Maybe PBS/CPB is crawling out from under Repub control.
Can anyone shed some light on how Frontline did it? It need some help understanding how this happened. There seems to be a huge lesson here for America's MSM.
It seems to me there are at least two very good articles or PBS/CPB programs here. One could be about how Frontline accomplished the airing of this program and another should be about what this means for the MSM and what they should learn from this almost epic program.
Also there are lessons to be learned for us bloggers, letter writers and especially the Democratic party and anyone who opposes the constant fear, hate and war mongering of the Bushies with their never ending desire to engage in war and killing.
I'm hoping that at least a dozen or more analysists speak to and analyze what and how Frontline did IT.

[Read the article: Ron Suskind, George W. Bush and the Aug. 6, 2001, PDB]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Have you forgotten the FBI reports that showed some of these terrorists were taking flying lessons and doing so under sufficiently suspicious circumstances that it came to the attention of the FBI which then reported these facts.
Have you forgotten that the two fighter aircraft put up to defend--- were routed 'out to sea'. I wonder why---
There is/was no reason for the Bushies and Condi to ignore these facts and let them go uninvestigated. Remember it's Cheney's close accomplice Rumsfeld that doesn't like the FBI or the CIA because they are/were outside of Rummy's little kingdom and sphere of influence he hated them.
Have you forgotten the Downing Street memos that revealed that American Intel (actually Bush/neocon) were fixed around making their case for war.
Now that these agencies and the NSA have been forced into the Rumsfeld/Cheney fold and under their sphere of control America has lost diversity in our intel community and so gone is our ability to take reports from the fifteen or seventeen (or more that 'we the people' and even the US Congress don't know about) separate Intel groups so the powers that be can have a richness of intel and therefore the ability to 'compare and contrast' via a variety of separate and independant intel reports.
So the politicians, who are the non-professionals when it comes to intel analysis now can go blithely on 'cherry picking' Intel, biased by their own personal politics. Thus they think and do what their political bias tells them not what is good for America.
Once again the corrupt and criminal Repubs tell 'we the people' what we are supposaed to think. The Straussian neocons strike yet again another blow to our American democracy and our constitution.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Have you forgotten that Anticraft guns were installed on the roof of the WH.
Have you forgotten that Bush's, uninvolved, uncaring, 'disconnect' attitude prior to 9/11 has been repeated on other occassions (hurrican Katrina) which gives 'we the people' real insight into how his mind and attitude function.
