The Mind of George Bush And All The Bushies
[Read the article: He'd rather be fishing]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Refering to Bush's comments one writer said "disjointed and contradictory". Another said "out of touch". All so very true. These comments actually do a good job of describing Bush's personality, his intelligence and his brain, all long ago pickled in alcohol and drugs.
I would add, irrelevant as another descriptor of George and his brain, his mental status, his character and his mind.
We can all see, except for those who choose not too such as those who voted for him not once but twice, what a vicious Rove Repub election machine can put in the presidency and keep there.
And we should expect more of the same in the next election and the next and the next ad nauseam.
I know the Repub party is the party of the rich and the corporations but have they always been this way and I just could not see it. Come to think of it Eisenhower was not this way. Maybe it all started with Nixon, possibly he led the Repubs astray and down into the pits of hell and they have decided to never come back from those pits of hell.
The Repubs are immersed in the rule of filthy politics and the destruction of America and our families. It must be that all that stuff about family values is just more smoke and mirrors to cover a greater corruption and a never ending misdirection. The family values groups are an integral part of Repub slime and misdirection.
If they really believed in family values they would demand that the Bush Repub admin provide a decent wage for family wage earners, education for children, and adequate food and medical care for growing children, and legislation to provide better safety and security for women and children instead of cancelling the law that did just that, thus reducing protection for women and children.
So, again I must ask what is the real agenda for those groups who claim to espouse family values but really take it away. What is the real agenda of those radical right wing religious groups like the Catholic Church, my church. I personally think their real agenda is nothing more than their acquiring complete political power and nothing more than that.

King George, the NSA and The Radical Religious Right
[Read the article: Bush can spin, but USA Today makes it simple]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]His Imperial Majesty King George, his criminal government and the corrupt Repubs strike again. This will go on and on and on. There seems to be no end in sight.
Since the corrupt Repubs control all three branchs of government who can or will protect the American people from the unitary executive and his criminal behavior, and the answer is no one.
Just think how much more damage Bush can do to our democracy in the three years he has left. What democracy, actually since he came to power and the Repubs ended our system of checks and balances there is no more democracy.
It is amazing that Bush pushs democracy down the throats of other nations and kills/ends democracy here in America.
The Dems are powerless to protect the American people. It seems to me that the only way 'we the people' can take back our democracy from the Bushie neocons aka known as the Repub party is to take to the streets and throw the Repubs out of government.
And I'm not even a democrat but I fear for my America. Wothout a doubt 'we the people' are losing the war to protect America and the very fabric of our society from those in our government who seek to end our democracy. The 'New World Order' will be here very shortly. Well the insane radical religious right wing fundamentalists will be happy. Then the Catholic Church, my church can control the destiny of all Americans not just the Catholics, they can reach right into our homes and personal lives via NSA phone and email surveillance programs.
The Pope and the US Conference of Catholic Bishops must get out of political control of America because they are following a corrupt path in their desire to control American politics.
