• NSA Vacuuming---

  Thanks to the reader who commented about the allegation that the NSA is vacuuming all information on U.S. citizens for reminding us all of this.

  I agree with him, why has there not been much more comment about this issue, especially from those in the computer industry.

  I am no computer expert but I most certainly have believed since the issue of NSA spying first came out that they are vacuuming in information on huge numbers of U.S. citizens, if not all. I do know enough about how this is done to know that the NSA is not just eavesdropping/spying on only calls between people in America and overseas terrorists. If that is all and only what they are doing then they are not doing their job to the fullest extent and they better hire me to advise them.

  I am totally against warrantless wiretapping, but I am not against wiretapping that is done legally and under strict supervision of judicial and congressional oversight. Also political groups that are against Bush and war dissenters should not be constantly spied upon. Also groups and people who are spied upon must be removed from the watchlists at some point in time, they cannot just be left on those lists forever.

  And who is to say that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, Rice etc. etc. etc should not be spied upon. Who can say with any degree of certainty that they are totally committed to America and our American Constitution and only committed to those things.

  Hehehe(chuckle,chuckle) so now you can see what we have, just another KGB situation/mess where everyone is spying on evryone. Do we really want that, so where do we draw the line. I most certainly do not want the Bush/ Repubs drawing the line and controlling this situation because they have shown themselves to be corrupt. They are corrupted by such a simple thing as money which means they spy not only against security threats but for those who buy/own them, especially the oil companies, most especially the oil companies.

  Meanwhile back to the issue---

  The NSA computers key in on certain phrases or words which means they must listen to ALL calls and read ALL emails in order to find those who fit there capture criteria. Many, many, many Americans use these key-words/key-phrases in their phone calls and emails(and don't tell me they are not intercepting emails). NSA intercepts have been going on since the beginning of the NSA, CIA, FBI because this was going on before and during WWII by some of the aforementioned agencies including some that no longer exist such as the OSS and the ONI, and long before that.

  Also if the NSA is listening to such truly benign and benevolent groups as the Quakers than they most assuredly are listening to all of us, including every dissent and antiwar group as well as anyone who questions the Bush administration and the Republican party. This situation is not just a security issue, it is a political issue as well.

  I am led to ask myself why would a lying president and Berto Gonzales one of his many and most predominant liars not be lying about this situation.

  Another event to pay attention to and think about is when Berto commented before the investigation committee about other kinds and forms of spying, whereupon he said there were no others but with just a bare trace of a smile on his face. How many others saw that?

  I am also led to ask myself about just how much of this NSA spying is done on all the politicians, of both parties, in the House, the Senate and on the Supreme Court. Does any one and do any of them think they are exempt from this vacuuming and mining of any and all information that goes over the phones and in the emails.

  Further, if the NSA is only listening to certain select and very limited calls and emails then why is the FBI so terribly back logged in it's follow up investigations of the calls and emails.

  All MSM writers, reporters and commentators are being 'intercepted' because ALL Americans are being intercepted, listened to and spied upon by the NSA. Do the NSA, CIA and FBI employees think they are exempted from this listen/vacuuming/spying process.

  And they call this 'A New World Order'. Yeah it's some stinking 'New World Order.

  Me thinks there is MUCH, MUCH, Much more here than meets the eye.
