    I know what will stop this garbage.

    If Democrats win the White House, working with congress and through the dept of the interior charge the companies who take advantage of this BS to:

    A.) Immediately stop what they are doing.

    B.) Subject them to full financial audits looking for bribes to the Bush administration that are so thorough that the repuglican thugs that run the corporations will think they've just had a rectal exam.

    C) Make them pay fines double for any damage they cause.

    D.) Ban them from the activity (such as strip mining) that they used to cause the damage.

    This is completely doable and realistic. That is why the oil companies and any other repuglican "rape America and let the working stiffs eat cake" will use every means at their disposal to make sure McSame wins.

    McSame wins, America Loses.
