Looked more like...
...she is auditioning for FOX news.
How can she say she likes people but hates 2/3rds of the population?
How can she she's dedicated to her church? Is it Christian? She needs to look again at the Bible where Jesus talks a LOT about loving one another.

She's great looking, so that evens it out
Wow! She's hot. She can say anything she wants and it's Ok with me.
But she's not "into" abortion, so you have to be careful and give her a fake phone number and address in case you knock her up, so you can get away without having to pay child support.

Bush Triplet
That perky little Texass fascist cheerleader is about ten years and twenty pounds from being a MallWart greeter, her most natural career course. She's just Babs and Jenna minus the east coast eddukashun. Tuck fexas.

A few things...
Of course the whole episode was constructed by the producers of that show. Out of all the gorgeous Hispanic, Arab, African-American, Indian, Vietnamese, Korean, Laotian, etc, women in Houston, Texas and the surrounding metropolitian area (including Spring, Texas) they chose an ignorant, racist, white sorority chic. They chose her not only so that she could impugn herself but a whole region. The lady isn't even beautiful. If anything, she's average. I admit that I don't watch America's Top Model, but if its anything like every other show on television all the main characters are probably white or black and fighting because of "racism." All the while the token Asian or Hispanic on the show act shocked, but keep quiet. As a Hispanic women living in Houston, Texas, I have to say that I am tired of white and black people bickering on tv. Its annoying. I feel like a complete outsider 75% of the time. In fact the only tv I watch are cartoons (Simpsons, The Boondocks, Family Guy, etc) or news (CNN, Fox, etc). Its so bad that I've taken to reading more than ever (AND I'm in Law School!) for sheer entertainment. And I used to LOVE to watch tv! I was raised on it! Gosh, the chic may be racist but she was probably propelled to her 15 minutes of fame by white, liberal producers.

The Cold Hard Light of Day
I've read some of the posts here after watching this video and having caught this little darling spewing her spew. I figured she was raised by Klansmen.
Then I wondered why they let this "nasty piece of work" as one post put it, on TV in the first place. Then it occured to me: Tyra Banks seems to have a thing for educating people or trying to. Exposing this little piece of trash's "conservatism" for what it really is...bigotry is probably going to be educational and enlightening given the context of the times we're in. Conservatives love to use these interesting code words that basically are a cover for their deep intolerance and bigotry, towards blacks, women, gay people, people of other religions, the list goes on and on. Considering how the mainstream media has been so reluctant to challenge the party line being pushed on us by Bush and Co., this is refreshing. Let the gay people in the fashion biz take the measure of this little xenophobe. Let the "liberals" take her down a notch or two by asking her straight up how the hell she ever got it in her pretty little head that she was going to make it as a model with the worldview she has acquired. One poster makes a point of saying she is being unfairly treated by letting her views be aired on national TV. She is still a child and all that. There's some truth to that, but on the other hand, she wants to be "America's Next Top Model" and she spews forth like a happy little volcano of hate. She wants to essentially get by on her good looks, which no self-respecting social conservative would ever agree with. Noting all that, my view is she waded into this shark pool on her own and she deserves to get chewed up and spit out.
Enjoy it while you can, darlin'. The clock's winding down on your 15 minutes of almost fame.
Here endeth the lesson.

Why the hell WOULD a black person shop at Abercrombie?
Or anyone else for that matter? Badly made expensive crap. The white girl got cut off in what she was saying, and she has a pretty "duh" kind of point. Instead of saying "why would I apply at FUBU" she should have said "why would I apply to be a waitress at a Chinese restaurant?"
Have you ever seen a non-Asian working at an Asian restaurant? I can't recall seeing one in my entire life.
Being against affirmative action doesn't make her a racist. I wonder if she was homeschooled, because she has apparently missed the indoctrination saying you can't say any honest observation relating to race. I happen to be Jewish, which is a tiny minority in this country . . . . I wouldn't be offended if someone said "so I walked into this audition and it was like ALL JEWS, it was so weird!" It *would* be rather weird, considering we're 1% of the country. Blacks are what, 15%?
She didn't say a single actual offensive thing. She didn't say blacks should be legally banned from A&F, she didn't say people who get abortions should be put in the stocks, and she didn't say that she approves of physical violence against gays. She WAS however too naive to realize that the tiny pea-brains of her fellow ultra-P.C. models couldn't handle hearing an opinion they hadn't heard before.

There are millions more out there just like her
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but she's no exception; she's the rule. A racist, homophobic, bible-thumping narcissist who ain't too bright to boot, with woefully uninformed but very strong opinions.
We get a fresh crop of 'em every fall at the university where I teach. I like to assign them to work with students from the groups they feel so superior to and watch their heads explode. Fun times.
"I'm a cheerleader. I KNOW about gay people." Right.

No Offensive Comments?
To the poster who said that Dani didn't say a single offensive thing...did you miss the part where she said that she didn't like Muslims? That's a pretty offensive statement in my opinion. I'm black, and if I heard a non-black saying that she (or he) didn't like blacks, I don't see how I could call that person anything but a racist. What would you be saying if Dani had said that she didn't like Jewish people? Would that be okay? You don't have to say that you want all non-white, non-Christians, non-heterosexuals to be lynched for it to be obvious that you are a racist. The A & F comment was the LEAST of her problems. And as for your example about the Asian restaurants, I think that the hiring in the "Asian" restaurants is a different mattter, and probably reflects self-selection on the part of the employees. If some national news story exposes the fact that non-Asians are being systematically denied the right to serve you your "Asian" food, then I'll take that statement back. Everyone living here has heard that A & F keeps its non-white employees in the stockroom if they get hired at all. Everyone here has seen or heard of A & F's racist shirts. Plenty of kids probably want to sell that overpriced crap, but guess who is getting hired when the applications are turned in? People who look like Dani...
Minority or not, there are plenty of situations and plenty of cities in this country (or others) where guess what, white people are not the majority. Coming from Dani, who lives in the Houston suburbs (the most racially balanced and 4th largest city in the U.S.)it sounds suspicious. If she was just a bumpkin from some tiny town in the middle of nowhere who hadn't just declared her hate for everyone who isn't Christian, white, and straight, it would have sounded harmless. But it didn't and she isn't. She's from Houston. Do you know how hard it is to avoid minorities in Houston?
This is not creative editing. The girl told everyone in American what she believes, and she was quite proud of herself. At 18, she pretty much is what she's going to be, and she's been watching MTV long enough to know how reality TV works. There is no way that the average teenager doesn't get that. She's old enough to ask questions if she wanted to. I'm sure that the producers and cast of the show (which is pretty much all minority or gay), enjoyed getting the chance to expose that idiot on national TV. I for one don't have a problem with that.
The only sad thing about this display is that there are too many Danis in the world.
