please tell me, dear alex, that you weren't really upset that there was no "amateur hour." you were totally joking in your complaint about "no big-name" people, right? surely cornel west, chris rock and whoever else was there -- oh, yeah, barack mufuckin' obama, who's filling more seats than most of those big names you wish were there -- were enough to impress even you, mr. koppelman.
pick a lane, sir: either be snarky or go for straight, objective journalism. your lil' bit at the end effectively missed the mark on both.
Just the man alone (Obama that is) should have been enough for anyone there that night. I wish I could attend everyone of his events - I run a group for him in Florida (yup - the problem state as usual!!) and I have seen him speak in person twice and Michele once and each occasion moved me to work even harder so that he will be our next President. He represents everything that we always SAY we want - honest, integrity, is for the people (wouldn't that alone be worth your vote?!!!) - I don't get it - it has to be that he is black - otherwise it tells me that what you all say you want and what you vote for are two different animals.
I guess you didn't hear: He's DEAD.
