I'm not keen on Mr. Ford's support of the Patriot Act, but there's a whole lot to like in this spot:

1) It tells the "value voters" (and how is it that only conservative Christians have values or base their vote on their values? ARGH!!!!) that the Democrats are not all God-hating heathens.

2) Mr. Ford's message is very, very direct... nice to see that someone has learned from the Gore/Kerry campaigns.

Hoo boy. I dearly want the Dems to win back the Senate, but boy, would I ever have to hold back the puke to vote for Ford. I'm glad I don't live in Tennessee.
