But who else but Clinton would do that?
I'm amazed at how many people love this song, even though they disagree with practically everything in it. How many people in that audience, or up on the stage, do you think believe that the world would be better without religion or nationalities? I do, and I'm not the only one. But, I'm sure not in the majority.
That was more emotionally scarring than an episode of the *British* version of "The Office". I feel like something important has been taken from me.

Ugh. I feel very tired now. I think I'll take a nap.
I agree. How many people in that audience even grasp that this song is as anti-religion as they come.
Muslims and Jews would have little reason to kill each other if it wasn't for religion. Excellent choice of song by Liel's handlers.
There's nothing worse than singing with someone who's doing a lot of vocal flourishes. Unless you've practiced with them extensively, you don't know what they're going to do. And unless you yourself are a very good singer, there's not much more you can do than to try and get through it as best you can.
Frankly, most people don't pay attention to the lyrics of the songs they hear. They get the sound and the tones, but comprehension requires more attention than most people are willing to give. That's probably why Reagan wanted "Born in the USA" as his campaign song. Heck, you probably could have convinced him to use "Mony, Mony" if he'd never heard a crowd shouting the unofficial refrain.
the lyrics to Imagine. From his body language and facial expression, my guess is he just didn't want to sing the lrics about no religion, no heaven, no hell, no possessions, etc. He didn't want any headlines proclaiming "Bill Clinton becomes atheist."
Much of the initial coverage about Fort Hood turned out to be wrong. Is there anything wrong with that?
