  • And?

So what am I missing? Bizarre? What is it about Abdul's appearance that Salon's O'high royalty disapproves of? What is she doing that displeases thee?

  • She has substance abuse issues.

It's a private matter. Leave it to the Enquirer, ok..? Not on salon.com.

  • It's Danny DeVito All Over Again

These people get shit-faced the night before one of these morning shows, with a 6am or so call, and don't realize (or forget) that they might wake up as inebriated as when they passed out. I think that was the case here. She's clearly three-sheets to the wind, from the slurred words to the wiry body language. On the other hand, I thought she did a better job than DeVito in holding her liquor.

  • Bitch, moan, rinse, repeat

You shouldn't make fun of celebrities. I'm a tight ass who has to bitch about anything lighthearted on Salon. It's your fault, evil Salon editors, that I have to post my whiney ass posts about things that I don't like but can't stop myself from reading. Oh, and get rid of The Fix. The mere presence of a link on your home page forces me to click it and I hate it!

  • Fry her ass

If it were you or I wandering around in public fucked up we'd be stuffed in the back of a police car. Private matter my ass. Let's see 'celebrities' face the War on Drugs like the rest of us then we can talk about how funny and cool it is. Until then she can STFU and empty her pockets and get a court hearing like everyone else.

  • SR cut her some slack

She really doesn’t seem to be “wandering around in public” She is simply a little buzzed up on a morning talk show. Hardly reason to put her in jail.

Now I’m sure that if you showed up on a morning talk show drunk it might cause a problem because you don’t belong there, but she was invited.

It’s her life and if she wants to be drunk at 6:00am that’s her business. She isn’t hurting anybody of stepping on anyone’s constitutional rights. There are no children at home wondering why mommy won’t wake up. She’s just drunk. It doesn’t seem to be hurting her ability to earn money.

  • Nope, sorry, Fuck Her.

I'm sick to death of listening to the I'm dehydrated/exhausted/have a prior medical condition/am special/am cute excuse. Fuck em all. When my home town no longer considers half joint busts to be fucking felonies and by the way, incredible revenue sources, then we can cut the drunkerati some slack. Until then it's the same treatment as everyone else. Zero tolerance means everyone suffers. Fuck Everyone.
