I saw this clip on another site earlier today and it's certainly rough to look at (for me, it's not as much the wound as the head's position). I don't know if I'm missing something, but it seems to serve no purpose that I can imagine other than to upset. I enjoy Video Dog for the most part, but the decision to include these gruesome images alongside gentle clips involving cats and dogs seems strange.
This is called "Lets get clicks!" What disgusts me is that they didn't have the guts to post the damn clip, just a link. Wouldn't want to sully Salon's reputation, now would we? But we gotta get our clicks!! >:(
