Here's a case where I actually agree with O'Reilly. Late term abortion is infanticide. Infanticide is murder.
So again, I'm curious. What was the point your editor is trying to make here? That O'Reilly is somehow responsible for the abortionist's death? If so, let's get back to the core issue at hand: can we all agree that late term abortion is infanticide and infanticide is murder?
Sorry, gosuarez, late-term abortions are not "infanticide." Infanticide is when an actual baby -- which is defined as being outside the womb -- is killed.
Let's first agree on definitions before going to the next step. Otherwise your words are self-serving to your argument.
Even if Bill was indeed stoking the flames with an intention for someone to take action, he will deny it all and merely say that he never advocated this sort of act of violence and he is against it 100%. Carefully crafted rants against individuals are his specialty. He always leaves plenty of openings for him to wiggle out of if things get hairy. Such is the life of a professional talking head/rabble-rouser.
Its unfortunate that we, as a society, give these sorts of people (Bill) such a high platform to spew venom from. Of course its his right to do so, but the fact that he gets paid so highly for this, and so many people follow his words, makes me cringe a little. He's a celebrity, only because of his vicious attacks on other people. But we suck it up and love every minute of it. All I can do is shake my head in shame.
His criticism of the left for not being compassionate for the feti that were never born is nauseating. Where's *his* compassion for the mothers whose lives or health were threatened by the pregnancies? And, of course, implicit in all this, is that the compassion for the babies ends the moment they're born. At that point, they're someone else's problem. I think it was Barney Frank who said that for these people, the right to life begins at conception and ends at birth.
They can't shut us all down.
