Doesn't anybody learn correct English grammar these days?
I am not an O'Reilly fan, but please look better educated than he does. Please.
It's spoofing off that line in Revelations (I think) about "He who has no sin shall cast the first stone," or what not. Was always "he" when I still went to church . . .
This is what Rich said that got O'Reilly's irish up:
"Even so, much of this manufactured war was more banal than malicious. Like Christmas itself, an anti-Christmas scare is an ideal means for moving merchandise. The first Fox News segment warning darkly of a war on Christmas occurred on Oct. 20 -- coincidentally the very day that Mr. Gibson's book hit the nation's bookstores. Many of the five dozen ensuing Fox segments contained lavish plugs for the book or for the Christmas baubles hawked by Bill O'Reilly on his Web site -- no yuletide loofahs, alas. (His wares were initially listed as ''holiday'' gifts until a Web exposé forced a frantic rebranding.)"
Nice aside regarding the loofah.
I thought Colbert was a little over the top....but maybe he doesn't go far enough. "I can't allow this stuff to go unchecked. I'm the only person that's gonna hold these people accountable."
O'Reilly is a child with delusions of maturity.
"He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."
John 8:7 King Jame Version. Favorite version for demagogues, misquoters and lovers of form over function.
You can see the whole story here:

This is a frequently misquoted Bible verse, so much so that even people who now better refer to the misquote. (See above link.)
However, given the antics of the radical right, isn't the Bible there to be misquoted and misinterpreted?
For additional fun, Google the misquote. You get more hits for a Deep Space Nine episode than anything else. :-)
I haven't seen too much of Fox lately (and my life is better for it), but I thought Juan Williams was a moderate voice in their wilderness of right wing hacks. Isn't it a little strong to refer to him as a toady? I know he is still doing good work at NPR.
