A Mormon wedding where a little wine might have come in handy.

OK, so it wasn't as billed...

Yup, sure wasn't a "traditional" - but it was sweet. I vote for a long life together.

Non-traditional Mormon wedding

As one who unfortunately grew up in Utah, in the middle of Mormonia -- and who also, unfortunately, grew up indoctrinated in the beliefs of Mormonism before I made my escape at age 18, I hate to tell you this, but that there's not a "traditional Mormon wedding." A traditional Mormon wedding occurs inside the Temple. Those who haven't passed muster (i.e., those who aren't card-carrying "Temple Recommend" holders -- certified faithful by their bishops) aren't allowed inside. Those who can go inside (that is, the faithful members of the 10%-ers club) go inside and the secret wedding ceremonies are performed far from the camera's and the doubting public's eye. No Mormon wedding ceremonies that take place inside a Temple are EVER filmed. As a non-believer, I have had the special privilege of waiting outside the Temple while numerous family members of mine (including my 3 sisters) have each been married. I've never seen one of the Temple ceremonies. The tip-off that this wasn't "traditional" was the fact that the bride in this video is wearing a strapless gown. That, my friends, would also never happen at a traditional Mormon wedding which occurred, where Mormons rightfully believe it should, inside the Temple -- because the bride would have "taken out her endowments" in the Temple prior to the ceremony (a few days or weeks beforehand) and would from that moment forever afterward be required to be wearing garments 24/7 (note: one would assume that any "good" Mormon boy would already have received his garments at age 19 after "taking out his endowments" in the Temple prior to going on the requisite 2-year mission for the LDS church). Garments could never ever be worn with anything strapless or revealing. So -- I call foul on the assertion that this is a "real" (or at least "traditional") Mormon wedding. Oh, they probably grew up in the LDS faith and since their parents are paying for the wedding/reception, there would be no alcohol served, in keeping w/ the principals of Mormonia -- hilariously ironic that the couple would adhere to THAT particular tenet of the faith, since odds are the only reason they're getting NOT getting married in the Temple is that the bride's already pregnant . . . .

Mormon?

Give ConeSkater a star. This is in no way a traditional Mormon wedding. You ought to edit your description.

That's the spirit!

You're getting the hang of it, Rob! Snark away.

Seriously, I thought the same thing. The whole goal of this marriage is to pop out little Mormon babies. No wonder she needed a "game day face." Gorgeous dress, though.

The Bride Wore A Rictus

And the Bridesmaids looked disturbed.

Only the groom and the bride's father looked happy.

Divorced in five.

Not a Mormon wedding.

Huh? I didn't see the tiniest indication this was a "traditional Mormon wedding". Lessee... it didn't take place inside a Mormon temple (where video cameras wouldn't be allowed); the brides dress and the bridesmaids' dresses were not compatible with the temple garments you mention, and there appeared to be quite a lot of alcohol consumption going on. Nope, it looked pretty much like a traditional generic American wedding to me.
