It Took THREE People to Write That??

"Dingleberry Lane", huh?

Yeah..that and the gratuitous gay stereotyp - not to mention The Shamrock - just scream out "Zany San Francisco!"

Please.

So who exactly on the Salon staff is related to this guy?

How else to explain the posting of this clip?

Um... props to the production team for finding a bar to shut down for the day for this shoot? I guess?

Thank GOD they got that pick up shot of the woman's shoe... it really makes the plot point about a pedicure FLY!

So it the close-up of someone pressing buttons on a remote control supposed to be this guy calling the 'service'?

Oh yay, no more brokeback parodies... now just some good old fashioned gay stereotyping devoid of pop culture references.

I can forgive the occassional lame clip posted on a slow day but this and the freaking ad for Sony lead me to believe you all have less time to troll the web for this stuff than I do. lame.

Thanks Salon!

Wow, I had no idea that my short was posted here until one of my cast members posted about it on a message board where we all know each other from called "Dingleberry Lane." This was just a little something silly that a group of friends put together for a short film contest. We had about a week to put the whole thing together and yes, three of us colaborated on the dialogue. So what? The bartender at the Little Shamrock opened 2 hours early for us and we shot it all very quickly.

Until now, everybody who I've shown it to thought it was funny. It's run at a couple of festivals to many laughs. But there will always be PC police on the internets thinking the world is like a college campus in the early 90's when people weren't allowed to have a sense of humor about anything. I'd love to see the great comedic masterpieces that these fine critics have made.

Hey, Jason!

Don't quit your fucking day job. And no, "we didn't have more time" doesn't cut it as an excuse for crappy work. Also, far funnier - not to mention ORIGINAL - minds than your's have long since mined (no pun intended) the whole gay zeitgiest. It's very 1979, but at least THEY were FUNNY.

Hey, Rob

So where's your film? It's real easy to go trash somebody else's work, isn't it? Much easier than doing something original of your own. If I had the time to waste, I'd just go trash your lame ass blog, but life's too short.
