I am pretty sure that PhysioProf is a "he" not a "she."
Look at his website's about page http://physioprof.wordpress.com/about-physioprof/
Rebecca has a problem with it as applied to the NetRoots conference, and I agree that there is a problem here. Rebecca, will you join me in working for skimpier coverage of the subject of your video?
with a tan, tank-topped Traister!
That pork seems to be going to *all* the right places, Rebecca - keep it up!!
Call Barbra Streisand, the feminists are going Nuts!
I think it's crazy that anybody expects the New York Times to cover their blogging stuff. What kind of conference was it, online only, or did everybody meet somewhere to discuss how cool they all are? What kinds of blogs do they write, and are they politically organized? How many people? Etc.
These are the sorts of facts that the video didn't cover. Who are these people? What are they complaining about? To what end? For what reason? Is the New York Times obligated to cover every conference under the sun?
What I love about this video is Rebecca Traister's expressions. Traister always seems like she's about to crack up laughing. Mid-way through this video there's an edit that makes it look like Traister just finished laughing. What the hell is so funny, Traister? Is somebody tickling you outside of our screen-view? I would hate to see you report on genocide or something, miss smiley pants.
I didn't find your pork pieces anymore facinating than your Blog her bother. Next time try to trim the fat, most Salon readers much more than that.
why have a special women's conference? (I don't necessasarily think that is a bad thing but treating women as a special interest is arguably not the right strategy toward equality.) Was setting this during the same week as Netroots- knowing that Kos is a serious player in politics and during a MAJOR election year no less- deliberately setting up the conflict to complain about?
