Bateman: Blagojevich's horrible, no good, very bad day

The Illinois governor on what it was like to get arrested, and how Mandela, Dr. King and Gandhi have helped him find perspective.

Bateman practicing Republicanism

Blagojevich states that he had his running clothes out, as in laid out to put on as soon as he got out of bed. But Bateman chooses to mishear him, and make a joke about Blagojevich having his running clothes on. This is a tactic that has been mastered by such as Limbaugh and O'Reilly and Michelle Bachman.

Bateman has a lot of good points. But every time he pull a stunt like this, he pisses away a lot of his credibility.

Big Hair- Big Air

One cannot escape the big hair or big air of Blogovitch. His image saturates the big news. The pundits prattle, "how long can he last" and the Illinois Senate is head over heels in its enthusiasm to 'throw the bum out'.

Aren't Human Beings Grand? Now, Deeply has spent little time on this except to observe the show and occasionally listen to the dribble. But, given the state of the nation, he gives the show a big so what?? All seems to be in order in the land of human nature.

What did this fellow do but get caught swearing and on tape, while trying to profit from his political connections? Hello! this is a problem man made everywhere and not only in politics. Anywhere humans tread there will surely be shady deals suddenly called favors, or friendship, or Marc Rich pardons ( Hi Hilary). Madoff anyone, and he is still living the life of luxury as are the Noel's and Ruth Madoff and Bernie's family. Think Enron, think George W Bush... think that hapless dead guy Ken 'Delay', once the hero of Davos, who went into the earth a great christian who had never scammed anyone after conning away billions.... human nature again!!

Think Schummer, Clinton, Tom Delay, Gingrich...or your local golfing attorney or real estate agent. Such is nature. Except it. Mankind Sucks!

I know it's true. I read Ken Lay's obit in the Aspen Times.

For a Man Who

hasn't been convicted or proven guilty of ANY wrong-doing, Mr. Blagojevich sure gets a lot of grief about his hair.

We need to demand fair hair, hair that is innocent until proven guilty. I mean, it's what we do in America.

Unless, of course, you are a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay.
