Red State Update: Gut feeling

Oh, Michael Chertoff, will you take your shirt off, so that we can hear your stomach better?

The letters thread is now closed.

I Had a Gut Feeling While Watching This...

...and it resulted in my kneeling before the porcelain god. For hours.

Rob hates everything

Rob, if you hate these videos so much, why do you watch them? Why do you waste your time watching EVERY video on the internet if you do not enjoy them?

I think I know why. You enjoy posting snide comments on the internet because it makes you feel smart. Like most sophomoric pseudo-intellectuals, you have mistaken cynicism for intellectualism.

Jackie and Dunlap are funny

This tribute to Michael Chertoff and Mark Russell is very funny.

David...

To spare you the task of reading what's-his-name's previous comments on previous threads: what's-his-name is on a holy mission to improve the quality of Salon. He is a holy rebel, a holy renegade, a holy arbiter of comedy and content.

I guess if God can implant the soul source for the Spread of Freedom (tm) in Dubya...

...then he can do the same for Video Dog using Rob Anderson.

Hallelujah, Amen!

Didn't Watch - Won't Watch - Giving up on Video Dog for good

For the last 2.5 months Video Dog has been worthless, posting nothing but the weekly drivel from a few favored contributors. Rather than introducing them to Salon readers and letting them go on their own in the future, the Video Dog editor has quit doing his job and is instead pushing these 5 or so same contributors week in and week out.

So, why have you destroyed Video Dog? Do these idiots you keep pushing give you a commission? Are you just lazy? Do you want to quit your job but are instead doing it poorly in hopes of getting fired?

I don't care which is the explanation for why you have destroyed Video Dog, what used to be my favorite daily visit. I'm past that. What I do want you to know is that I am done. I won't even check in once a week in hopes that you've been fired and replaced by someone decent. They could cut Video Dog tomorrow and YOU WON'T BE MISSED BY ANYONE.

After all, those that like this crap you're pushing can get it directly from the source, so you're really not necessary to anyone anymore.

This is pretty damn funny

I like a few of the new regulars (including RSU(, but it is disappointing that the breadth of Video Dog has gone to nil.

Red State Update

Red State Update is the only funny thing about Video Dog these days. Sure, there ought to be more variety than what's been offered, but Red State Update is not the problem. These guys are hilarious.

Joan's Editorial Imps Have Been Hard at Work Overnight

Deleting even those postings of mine that were relatively benign. Again, this is just the kind of chickenshittery I've come to expect.

salon deletes selected letters from Rob Anderson?

I don't understand. Why would they do this? They should just delete every letter from Rob Anderson. The letters section would be far more peaceful and intelligent (but less fun).
