Dear Scott Bateman

Don't quit your day job. Unless making these cartoons IS your day job, in which case, please quit your day job.

There's plenty of unfunny on the internet for you...

Harvest their brains, Scott.

It's so sad that there's no For Better or For Worse or Mary Worth here for people like the above anony-mooses. Maybe Garfield would provide them more giggles?

Freaks. Zombie Steve in 2008! Better Undead Than Red.

Reminds me a bit...

...of the "Joe Cartoon" podcasts. Funny only if you like seeing hamsters smashed...

Also, technically speaking, the elbow of most humans (alive or undead alike) do not start at the shins, which is where they would have to be to accomplish the arm animation seen here.

Have you been taking art lessons from Chris "women's spines resemble noodles" Muir? Now that's unfunny stuff (http://www.daybydaycartoon.com/)!!!

Not to pick on Bateman or anything,

because I think his cartoons are OK, but what has happened to video dog? Just because I like Red State Update doesn't mean I want it to be the main content on VD. I can get it in a podcast if I want. Rabbit Bites bites -- I have never been able to get through an entire episode -- and Tony Cartoon is not funny, just weird, and not in a good way. I'd cite other content but there doesn't seem to be any anymore.

If this is the best you can do you should can the feature altogether.

Hi, I'm Scott Bateman

I can't really draw, or write, or speak. I have no imagination, either, having to leech off of current events - including live audio recordings of same - in order to decorate my idiotic cartoons. I should shoot myself in the head, but like most annoying morons I never will.

And I'm FEATURED ON SALON!!! Who'da thunk it???

I'm not getting it

Does this cartoon have a point or deeper meaning? Maybe I'm too simple minded and the point flew over my head? Is this one of those hip references to popular culture, and I just missed the source material? Is this Dada or performance art?
