Happy Father's Day!

An ode to Father's Day.

Ode to Jonestown

It might be offensive, if it wasn't so drawn out and dumb with no pay off. Would an abortion be funnier than slitting your wrists? Here's the shot: they grab wirehangers instead of kitchen cutlery...now that's comedy!

The stuff posted here is ususally on the money, but this one missed the boat.

Please

Funny? Please, that was obnoxious and irritating. I guess I can be glad that two incredibly annoying people will not longer be walking the earth or passing on their genes.

ick

just as well they don't pass on their genes.

Sooooooo Not Funny...

Wow, is it me? Am I getting old and humorless? Of all the possible "funny" Father's Day videos - this is what you post? Yuck!!!

Thanks so much -- not

This is the best you can do for Father's Day? I'm neither impressed, nor amused.

Perfect!

Dont listen to them Video-Dog folk, I for one loved the selection. It was a perfect twist to the usual Father's Day messages one would expect. Twisted & hilarious. Thank you.

I laughed.

It made me laugh. It was a welcome counterpoint to all the usual Father's Day treacle.

Equal for both holidays?

So, if this had been posted on Monther's day -- would you have expressd the same reaction? Would anyone have considered the video portrayal of a woman that reacted the same way to a pregnancy test? Would you have thought the same amount of humor? Would it have been as inconcievable that a father would care as much as I do now?

I don't assume it's the same situation, because I know that the Broadsheet writers are incapable of even considering that concept: but are they willing to publish an opinion that is contrary to their own? Guess we'll find out.

Yes.
