    Ever-inscrutable

    Japanese culture is to be cherished. Whenever you think you've got things more or less figured out, you just need to see something like this to realize the world is more mysterious than you will ever know.

    I worked for five years in a giant japanese bank in nyc, and, I swear, after five years I understood japanese culture even less than ever. Same bank, different planet, I used to say.
