Please, no more Ministry

These guys really aren't that funny. In fact they're even a little embarrassing. Haven't we had enough clips from them now? Surely you can find some more entertaining stuff to post.

oh, come on

I thought this was pretty damn hilarious. Ignore the blowhard below. More Ministry and more satire!

A slow start

I like the TV comic political commentary a lot, the cute pet piccies a little, and The Ministry of Unknown Science not very much at all.

My goodness... was that supposed to be humorous?

This is the first Ministry of Science video I've seen, and it'll be my last. Yuck. I wasn't offended, just annoyed and bored out of my mind.

he's not an amimal and this isn't a good comedy sketch

promising premise, decent production value, but poor execution = unfunny clip. i have to agree with those who vote for dropping them from your space - MOUS hardly qualifies as premium content.

Use of Sound Herein Shows path to Higher Quality film

Novice though I am to Film:

I did find intriuge and delight in the technique used wherein theatric/opera/drama-tic Background Musica was used... especially as Old Film relied on Orchestras (joint endeavors improving the qualities of both actors and musicians), while modern film uses Chart-Topper music constantly in the background to placate viewers.

(as if: 'I like the music for reason beside the film, so I like the film': seems scam-ish. Like using Patriotism to Sell a War or Cartoon Figures to Sell Cereal Boxes)

Dramatic pause is important and ads Depth, where music doesn't fade in/out but is Orchestrated, and Musica is composed especific for each scene. Beautiful to have dead-silence after E-man's breakdowns: the first was excellant, the second breakdown, when the music stopped... Seargent O'Shoughnesy said "okay" too quick.

Problem In Modern Times is that all acting/dance uses recorded musica to go along with motion. Collaboration needs to come back into Art between music and motion, for the schism between the two is likely responsable for the deteriorations of both. This Film has some showing of how powerful that would be.

But:

The Doctor should smoke his pipe, so that smoke can be seen in black and white.

It would have been clever to have better Shadow-work behind E-man with his hand making animal shadow-puppets.

And:

"Spot me a twenty."

"Are you out of your mind?"

"I am not an animal!"

"Oh, alright! Here!"

That IS very funny.
