    Seriously, what the hell is the deal with all the pictures of pets? You simply must stop. Perhaps you can invest the time you now spend posting pictures of "adorable" pets into finding video clips that are slightly more obscure than Letterman's latest monologue.

    Do we need pet photos? No. I understand that someone is glad that Scout is alive (I noted the shaved kitty arm for an iv). However, there are plenty of websites devoted to pet pics, and Salon shouldn't be one of them.

    My cats are cuter, anyway.
