    supposed to be a summer delicacy

    Actually, the first girl is saying:

    "Natsu wa zerii dayone." (Roughly translated, "Jelly is great for the summer.")

    The implication is that, as opposed to dry, shortbread-like regular calorie mate, the jelly kind is better (cooler and more refreshing, etc) when the weather is hot and humid.
