  • Why liberals get the 'humorless' label.

    Imagine how things might be different if enough Americans paid as close attention to the shenanigans of the Bush administration over the last seven years as they have to nonsense like Survivor.

    Hey, you're right! We should be out there, making a difference RIGHT NOW! But then we'd be wondering "Where's ikuiku?"

    But you're online typing a comment about a show you allegedly don't care about. Guess the revolution would have come if you had just gone out there instead of making your 'point.'

    You must be a ton of fun:

    Someone: "Let's go to the movies!"

    You: "How can we do that when Bush is destroying the country?"

    Someone: "Let's make love!"

    You: "How will that help get the neocons out of power? Where are your priorities?!"

    I wonder why people see us liberals as humorless losers. Then I see posts like that one and say "Oh, right."

    Thanks for screwing it up for the rest of us.
